On the evening of October 22nd, the "new weave" dress show, which was jointly launched by Beijing Gong Wang Fu Museum and Wuhan Textile University, made a wonderful appearance at the Tai Huang Hall of Beijing Jingshan Hill park. This is also the first time in the "Splendid China" series of activities, the first time the traditional hand woven cloth woven cloth as the theme of the non heritage costumes show.

The "new weave" series of costumes are 37 sets designed by the Wuhan Textile University's non Heritage Center. This series of clothing has been integrated into the traditional textile techniques such as Hubei Jujube coarse cloth, Ezhou Huarong cotton spinning, Hong'an cloth and other traditional textile techniques, and the traditional textile processes such as Hebei Weixian County cotton spinning, Zanhuang native village cloth and other 7 state-level and provincial non heritage items such as Hubei Huangmei cross stitch, and Miao Miao cross stitch. The head of Wuhan Textile University introduced that the designer, with the new fashion fashion expression method, through the bold and innovative cutting and splicing, fully demonstrated the changes in the thickness and texture of the woven cloth and the natural texture, enhanced the aesthetic value of the traditional handwoven cloth, and evolved into a series of costumes that blend in the contemporary fashion life.

It is reported that "Splendid China" series of activities, supported by the Ministry of culture and tourism, jointly sponsored by the Beijing Gong Wang Fu Museum, jointly organized by the Federation of China Textile Industry Federation, the Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, China Fashion Week Organizing Committee and other units, aimed at revitalizing traditional crafts and better making non heritage into modern life. Since October 18th, there have been 7 days and 14 costumes show featuring China's intangible cultural heritage.
