In 1949, President Mao Zedong announced to the world at Tiananmen that People's Republic of China was founded.
In 1949, China's Ministry of textile industry was responsible for the major development planning tasks of the national economy and the people's livelihood.
In 1949, the life of the Chinese people has entered a new historical era.
In 1949, as the mother industry of the establishment and growth of the national industrial foundation, the Chinese textile industry launched a magnificent picture of development in the new historical starting point.
In the past 70 years, in order to meet the needs of the people and to support the revitalization and development of the national economy, in order to achieve a leap from a large textile nation to a strong textile power, the textile industry has been building up a wide range of species and making vigorous efforts from generation to generation, and has built up China into the largest textile and garment producer, consumer and exporter in the world with the enthusiasm and unremitting efforts.
Now, through comprehensive and profound transformation and upgrading, new industry positioning and high quality development requirements, China's textile industry is once again standing at the new starting point of the times. Looking back on the ups and down of the past 70 years and burning with passion, we know that history can only be clear today. On this memorable special time node, this magazine specially launched the "answer 1949" thematic memorabilia, so that we can look back at the time of weaving and talk about those people and things in the history of textile development in New China, and listen to the echo of time.

In the 70 years since the founding of new China, the change of China's textile industry has been described as changing. In particular, since reform and opening up, we have been emancipating our minds and pioneering and innovating, and have made remarkable achievements. I graduated from the University in 1979 and joined the textile industry. I have been engaged in information technology development, application promotion and strategic research. I have witnessed the development of the textile industry in the past 40 years. I have experienced 40 years of textile informatization from stagger to vigorous development, from enterprise pilot to comprehensive promotion, from technology enlightenment to independent innovation, from local application to meta synthesis. Looking back on this course, how much of the past is worth recalling, and because of the space limit, we have chosen four more profound memories according to the age, and expressed our heartfelt respect to the participants of the textile informatization, including experts and entrepreneurs.
1980s
Experience the beginning of computer application and listen to Du Yansun's earnest teachings.
The application of information technology in China's textile industry began in 1970s, when it was commonly known as "computer application". In 1978, taking the east wind of the party's reform and opening up in the third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, the information construction started with the loom automatic monitoring system of Shanghai sixth weaving mill in 1978.
I entered the Textile Research Institute in 4 month in 1979, and applied computer technology in automation. At that time, the curtain of reform and opening up was just opened, and all industries were in urgent need of talents, especially in the emerging computer field. Young people like me get a rare opportunity to participate in key subjects, learn microcomputers at Zhejiang Institute of Silk and Textiles, learn English from East China Textile Institute of technology, and quickly undertake research projects as a responsible person. Because of the unfamiliarity with textile equipment and technology and the lack of understanding of the needs of enterprises, there are many puzzles in selecting topics.
In July 1981, my colleague and I accompanied Mr. Du Yansun to the investigation of Tonghua fur factory, which is an unforgettable learning opportunity. Du Yansun is a well-known textile printing and dyeing expert in China. He can be regarded as the leader of the industry and vice president of the Textile Academy. He was more than 70 years old and still in high spirits. He got off the train and refused our support.
The factory in Tonghua developed the development of synthetic fur in the early part of the country, and introduced the synthetic fur production line abroad. This device uses electronic jacquard technology to weave all kinds of simulated animal fur, so that we appreciate the advanced international electronic technology. He was very concerned about the new technology. After returning to Beijing, he called us to his soft berth carriages and exchanged his views with his unique Shaoxing accent.
First of all, he is very optimistic about the application of computers in various textile industries, which can bring great changes to traditional equipment and technology. He is concerned about relevant reports in newspapers and magazines, and is especially sensitive to new technologies. He thinks cotton textile, chemical fiber, knitting and other industries can be tried. After that, we focused on the printing and dyeing industry. We talked extensively about printing and dyeing, including color separation, printing, dyeing, printing and dyeing, multi machine control, liquid printing, alkali concentration testing and so on. We are deeply attracted and have a sense of high mountains and high mountains. He finally said with great interest that the textile industry has introduced advanced technology for the first time in many years, improving its level through digestion and absorption, but in the process, there must be something original in itself. We should not be afraid of failure in scientific research and development. We can only advance on the basis of learning lessons. Hope for those of us who first entered the textile gateway.
In the past few years, automation has carried out cotton spinning monitoring, chemical fiber yellowing control, digital liquid jet printing, dyeing liquor alkali concentration detection and other projects, some of which have been successfully applied in enterprises, and some of the industrialization results are not satisfactory. These enlightening work in the initial stage of textile informatization has brought new concepts and techniques, trained the team of technological development, and laid a good foundation for the promotion of information technology in the future.
In 1985, I introduced to experts the situation of liquid jet printing project, which was strongly supported by President Du Yansun.
1990s
Devote oneself to enterprise information management, and feel Liu Shitong's enterprising spirit.
In the mid and late 1980s, the textile industry was booming, and its application scope was expanding. However, due to the new situation in the development of China's textile industry since 90s, information construction has entered the adjustment stage, focusing on the field of enterprise management information. The number of projects has decreased, but even more in line with their own needs, some enterprises with better economic returns have launched the construction of management information system (MIS) and computer integrated manufacturing system (CIMS).
During this period, I was responsible for the enterprise information management project in the textile department Computing Center (Textile Federation Information Center), using the advanced super micro computers and the fourth generation language (4GL) at that time, and developed the three needles of Beijing, the Beijing towel factory and the textile science and chemical plant system, which accumulated some experience. One of the bottlenecks is how the management system is closely integrated with the manufacturing process of the factory, and we need to further broaden our horizons and find new ways to improve it. At that time, the Jingwei Textile Machinery Factory Co operated with Tsinghua University to develop the CIMS system, which is very influential in the industry. I established a connection with Jingwei Textile machinery through my alma mater teacher, and I got acquainted with director Liu Shitong.
As an enterprise manager, Liu Shitong has a special liking for information technology. In 1991, when he was a deputy factory director, he decided to introduce the foreign manufacturing resource planning software (MRPII), and led the team to study in Canada. After returning to China, he took full digestion and absorption, and made two developments to meet the needs of domestic enterprises. As the director of the factory, the whole process of MRP II implementation was presided over, and closely related to the main line from user ordering, plan generation, and production manufacturing, all kinds of systems, norms and assessment methods of rewards and punishments have been formulated, and remarkable results have been achieved. I participated in the appraisal meeting of the management information system of Jingwei Textile Mill in September 1994. After the meeting, I had an in-depth communication with Director Liu.
In 1994, after the appraisal meeting of Jingwei management information system, the two row of the right 8 was Liu Shitong, and the left 4 was the author. Many of them are IT teams in the future.
He has a lot of feelings about the implementation of management information system in enterprises. He considers that it is not only an information technology project, but also a complex systematic project. He must take the lead, and all departments should cooperate closely and choose suitable partners and software systems on the basis of scientific planning. I feel empathy for these. More importantly, we must constantly upgrade and transform according to the changing needs of enterprises, and constantly deploy new systems. "Enterprise informatization has only a starting point and no end", which embodies the enterprising spirit of continuous progress.
On the basis of the successful implementation of the MRP II, the CIMS system was developed in collaboration with Tsinghua University in 1995. It was approved by the end of 1999 and achieved good results after its application. On the basis of drawing on all aspects of experience, I have completed the informatization project of Kaidi silk, Shanxi three dimensional and other large enterprises, launched the national textile enterprise informatization survey, formulated the "textile enterprise management information system development specification", published the "enterprise management information system (MIS) foundation" and other works, promoted the improvement of enterprise management level, and made contributions to the textile informatization stage of the adjustment stage.
Fortunately, in the process of implementing the information system, Jingwei Textile machinery has developed a team of nearly 100 people with professional skills and familiar with the situation of the machinery plant. Under the leadership of Liu Shitong, Yuci Jingwei Textile Technology Company has established a Simon information technology company based on Beijing. Then went to the whole country, serving all walks of life enterprises, and played an important role in the climax of enterprise management informationization. When I hosted the information technology application conference of textile enterprises in 2001, Liu Shitong turned to be the boss of software company. He was delighted to attend the meeting and talked about the new experience of transition.
2000s
Focus on information technology promotion, and benefit from Zhang Yunqing's support.
After entering the new century, the textile industry has developed rapidly, and the demand for information system has been greatly increased. Textile informatization has ushered in a climax. The state has increased the intensity of policy support and supported the application of information technology in traditional industries through various channels, among which the national electronics office supports the textile industry for the longest time.
The national electronic office is the abbreviation of the national electronic information system promotion office. Since 1986, it has organized the implementation of the national electronic information technology promotion plan (referred to as doubling plan), mainly by means of loan discount, to promote the use of electronic information technology to transform traditional industries. The project involves many industries, among which the textile industry has always been the object of project support. When I was in charge of the development of enterprise information system, I worked with the national electronics office and participated in their meetings. I remember in the winter of 1994 in Qufu cotton mill's computer system acceptance meeting, I first met Zhang Yunqing, director of the national electronics office. He is an expert cadre who has long been responsible for information technology promotion in the whole country. He is experienced and enthusiastic. He soon became a good friend.
I transferred to the newly established China Textile Industry Association (China Textile Industry Federation) in 1998 and took over the textile industry doubling plan from the State Textile Bureau in 2000. After repeated communication with Zhang Yunqing, the first thing is to organize the acceptance of Hebei Botou Tianlun textile group project. The project was included in the doubling plan in 1998, including MIS and production process monitoring, and Intranet and Internet sites were established. I will go to the front of the site to confirm the conditions and organize the inspection meeting. Zhang Yunqing attached great importance to Botou and presided over the meeting. The expert group gave higher evaluation and passed the inspection smoothly.
During this period, the enterprise resource planning (ERP) was emphasized by all sides, and the enthusiasm of textile enterprises was very high. The national electronics office has listed four textile industries as key industries, which has given us great encouragement. In 2001 and 2002, the two textile enterprise information technology application conference was held in Beijing, and the national textile enterprises were organized to take an active part in the national doubling plan and promote enterprise management informatization. Zhang Yunqing, deputy director of product department of the Ministry of information industry, attended the two keynote speech. Subsequently, I worked with the cotton textile industry association and the chemical fiber industry association to promote the application of ERP system and related technologies in large-scale cotton spinning and chemical fiber enterprises. With the e 100 project of the textile industry association, we formed a climax of ERP construction.

With the support of the national electronics office, the textile industry doubling plan has been implemented smoothly. In 2000, for the first time, more than ten enterprises reported projects and screened 7 projects, all of which were included in the doubling plan. Two times (sometimes) once a year, until 2009, a total of 80 items were reported in 10 years, and most of the projects could be completed. 7 of them were granted loan interest discount. The doubling plan is mainly guided by national policies, setting up demonstrations and promoting them from a large scale. At the same time, with the support of a small amount of funds, it plays the role of "42 points".
Now, looking back on these projects, a few state-owned enterprises are no longer in existence, some enterprises are declining in the market competition, while most enterprises are becoming stronger and stronger, maintaining or entering the leading enterprises in the industry, information technology has played an important role. If Shandong Huaxing has built the entire spinning intelligent production line, Qingdao's red collar suits are well-known throughout the country. The fine management of Anhui Huamao has always maintained a high level. The printing and dyeing digitalization system of huafun shares has obvious effect of energy saving and emission reduction, and the equipment and software suppliers of Hangzhou, Hangzhou and Honghua have maintained strong development momentum. In recent years, I have been very pleased with Zhang Yunqing in the computer user association integrated manufacturing branch.
2010s
Promoting intelligent manufacturing innovation and understanding Chen's fan's strategic vision
The eighteen party made the strategic plan of adhering to the new industrialization and informatization with Chinese characteristics and promoting the deep integration of informatization and industrialization. The textile industry will further enhance the level of integration of the two technologies and sprint the strategic goal of building a strong textile nation. One of the characteristics of the deep integration of textile two technologies is that the integration of information technology and equipment is becoming more and more close, which greatly improves the automation, digitalization and networking of equipment.
In September 2011, I joined the delegation of China Textile Machinery Association to visit ITMA International Textile Machinery Exhibition in Barcelona, Spain. There were many entrepreneurs and met with Chen fan fan, chairman of Kangping Na company. He has a liberal character of Shandong people and sees people at the same time. At that time, I only knew that Kangping was a wool textile enterprise with advanced technology level. In recent years, it has focused on equipment transformation and new equipment development, and made outstanding progress in automatic dyeing production line.
At ITMA, we have seen the demeanor of advanced international equipment, such as the new generation of rotor spinning, which is 200 thousand of the speed of the company, and the online monitoring system of single spindle of the company. Because I can speak some English, Chen sometimes takes me to some exhibition stands. He is very interested in automatic printing and dyeing technology and equipment. Some problems are very thorough. He not only understands the technical problems, but also pays more attention to the strategic issues in the future development trend of technology and equipment. Through exchange, we can see that he has determined to seize the opportunity and regard automation equipment as the focus of the next development of enterprises, so as to realize the transformation and upgrading of traditional textile enterprises.
In 2011, I played with Chen Fan Fan in Barcelona, Spain.
After returning home, he had the opportunity to meet in Kangping. For the first time, he saw the scene of the automatic cheese dyeing workshop for the first time: the crane automatically positioned and grabbed and put the yarn into the tube, and the automatic control of the whole production line in the control room was more shocking than the ITMA booth. The digital automatic dyeing of the cheese yarn was highly praised by experts. In 2014, it won the first prize of national science and technology progress, which had a great impact on the entire textile industry. Chen said that Kangping has been promoting the transformation from a single wool textile enterprise to an integrated enterprise that integrates wool spinning, equipment manufacturing and dyeing service. It will take the opportunity of winning the prize to speed up the pace of building automation and intelligent production demonstration lines. Later, the development of the situation confirmed his strategic judgement to a certain extent.
In May 2015, the State Council issued "made in China 2025", making it clear that intelligent manufacturing is the breakthrough and key point in the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry. Governments at all levels regard intelligent manufacturing as the starting point for compulsory manufacturing. In December 2016, the Ministry of industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Finance issued the "intelligent manufacturing development plan (2016 - 2020)", giving support to policies and funds. The textile industry actively promotes textile intelligent manufacturing engineering, selects key enterprises with urgent needs in the key sub sectors with good basic conditions, and builds effective experience around the theme of intelligent production lines, intelligent chemical plants (workshops) and so on, and promotes them in the whole industry.
During this period, I chaired a dozen key industrial policy topics of the national development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of industry and commerce. One of the main research directions was the strategic research on promoting the development of Intelligent Manufacturing in textile industry. A series of articles were written to interpret "made in China 2025". This article publicized the progress and achievements of intelligent manufacturing industry in terms of industry characteristics, vigorously promoting textile intelligent manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing: the commanding heights of textile and garment industry upgrading, and highlighted the demonstration case of Kangping Na to explore the strategy and path of developing intelligent manufacturing in an all-round way. In my related research report, I put forward: to aim at the high level and long-term planning of manufacturing industry at home and abroad, we should give full consideration to the realistic basis of the integration of the two industries, and prioritize and implement them step by step. Generally speaking, to promote textile intelligent manufacturing, we must adhere to the market orientation, give full play to the role of the main body of enterprises, grasp the characteristics of the industry, and strive for breakthroughs in key areas to achieve substantial results.
In recent years, Kang Pingna has not stopped to speed up the promotion of the intelligent dyeing project of bobbins, and has gained every year. In 2015, it was identified as the first pilot demonstration of Intelligent Manufacturing in the country. In 2016, it was approved by the new mode of intelligent manufacturing application; in 2017, it was selected as an intelligent manufacturing solution provider; in 2018, the Chinese industrial award was awarded by the "cheese dyeing" industrial demonstration project. I am more aware of Chen's team's strategic vision and heartfelt congratulations from the bottom of my heart.
Recalling 40 years of work experience, and 40 years of development of textile industry reform and opening up together. I published the book "40 years of development of China's textile informatization", which is a history of the development of information technology, and a comprehensive summary of 40 years of harvest and sentiment. I am lucky to go out of school and catch up with the tide of reform and opening up. The whole nation is concentrating on economic development and developing opportunities in all walks of life. I am working hard. Regardless of technological development, industry promotion or strategic research, the beginning of building a strong textile nation has never wavered. The pace of learning and exploration has never stopped. I am gratified that the textile industry has undergone tremendous changes in the past 40 years, and I have devoted myself entirely to the construction of textile informatization so as to make a solid contribution to the realization of these changes.
