Le Youhua, deputy director of the petrochemical and light textile business department of China International Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd., explained the development plan of Bengbu bio based materials industry. Planning is guided by Xi Jinping's new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics, focusing on breakthroughs in key industrial technologies, constructing a closed loop system of production, teaching and research, and gathering the upstream and downstream enterprises extensively, implementing the "three all" service concept, promoting the construction of key industrial projects, creating an industrial layout of "one axis, one axis and four districts", and speeding up the development of the "three poly one plastic" industrial development system supported by polylactic acid, polybutylene succinate, furan polyester and wood plastic composite materials, leading the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure and accelerating the development of the regional economy. The development goal is put forward. In 2025, the main business income of Bengbu bio based materials industry will exceed 250 billion yuan, of which the main product is the PLA chain of more than 170 billion yuan, the industrial chain of polybutylene succinate is over 17 billion yuan, the industrial chain of polybutadiene polyester (PEF) is over 10 billion yuan, the industrial chain of plastic wood composite material reaches 5 billion yuan, and the PA56 industrial chain reaches 15 billion yuan. By 2030, the main business income of bio based materials industry has exceeded 1 trillion yuan, making efforts to build Bengbu into a major base for emerging industries of bio based materials in Anhui, the leading bio based material capital in the world, and the largest polylactic acid industrial cluster in the world. By 2035, relying on the overseas lactide raw material base, the production scale of PLA will reach 10 million tons, and the main business income of the industry will reach 1 trillion yuan.

The main path of development is to enhance the production capacity of polylactic acid products, and strive to build the industrial chain with the main line of "lactic acid polylactic acid application" as the five major industrial chain, which takes the PLA chain as the core, Ding Erzhi, PBS, furan biological new material, plastic wood composite material and PA56 fiber as the supplement. It focuses on assembling degradable plastic shopping bags, external packaging materials, plastic tableware, medical materials, agricultural film, fiber and textile enterprises.

At present, there are 24 large scale industries in Bengbu, forming the industrial development pattern of Guzhen economic development zone and Huaihai Economic Development Zone. The chain of polylactic acid industry in Guzhen Economic Development Zone has been formed and will develop into the largest polylactic acid production base in the world. The industrial chain represented by PBS and PEF is basically formed in Huaihai Economic Development Zone. Lok also pointed out the existing problems, the industry chain needs to be improved, product promotion needs to be strengthened, and the standard system is not sound enough.
