EASTMAN Visited China Textile Union To Explore The Future Direction Of Product Development And Sustainable Development.

On the afternoon of November 15th, Mark Costa, chairman and chief executive of the US Eastman Chemical Co (hereinafter referred to as "Eastman") visited China Textile Industry Federation and held talks with Sun Ruizhe, chairman of China Textile Industry Federation. According to Mark Costa, Eastman has successfully developed the chemical recycling technology of polyester, and has obtained a stable source of waste materials. Now it has been officially put into commercial operation at Eastman's largest production base in kins Potter, Tennessee. Mark Costa and Yan Yan conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the standards of sustainable identification and the mode of promotion of the office of social responsibility of the China Federation of textile industry. Mark Costa said that Eastman hopes to promote the sustainable development of China's textile industry through the cooperation with the China Textile Industry Federation.
