After Breaking Up With King Nine, Maison Kitsune Opened A Store In China.
The famous French fashion brand Maison Kitsune, known as tricolor fox logo, issued a public announcement that it would launch a flash store in Hang Lung Plaza, Nanjing West Road, Shanghai. This is the prelude to Maison Kitsune's entry into the Chinese market. Prior to that, Maison Kitsune had established a joint venture with China's menswear brand "nine herd king", hoping to promote the expansion plan in the mainland of China with the help of King Mu. Subsequently, the cooperation ended abruptly. Maison Kitsune broke into the Chinese market in a flash shop after breaking up with King Mu.
In the Maison Kitsune push number, the brand announced that the Pop up store (flash shop) in Shanghai Hang Lung Plaza is now open for business, please come to punch your card. The official number shows that the Principle series mainland debut, the fashion casual classic Parisien series and the ACIDE series for the avant-garde sense of art, released by creative director Yuni Ahn, are on sale in the flash shop, which includes T-shirts, sweaters, sweaters, windbreaker jackets, shoes, bags and accessories. It is reported that the flash store will be open until March 2020, during which 8000 of the classic tri colored fox tote bags will be presented.

At present, the brand has 17 independent stores in France, Japan, the United States, Korea and Hongkong, China, and there are more than 400 retail outlets in London, Copenhagen, Losangeles, Sydney, Tokyo and Hongkong.
Maison Kitsune has created a highly recognizable fox logo in France's iconic red, white and blue colors. Its style is fashionable, simple and comfortable. Its popularity in China is mainly due to celebrities such as Ni Ni and Yang Mi.
In February of this year, Maison Kitsune was invested in 76 million 500 thousand yuan of Chinese menswear brand "nine herding king". The two sides jointly set up an investment company, "little fox (China) Limited", to carry out the operation of Maison Kitsune brand and Kitsune brand clothing, accessories, bags, cosmetics and perfume products in mainland China, Hongkong and Macao. Nine Mu Wang holds a 50% stake in the joint venture. Kitsune invested 50% of the joint venture company in the operating area, including not only clothing, accessories, bags, except coffee, perfume and cosmetics. The two sides plan to open about 50 stores in China in five years. At that time, Masion Kitsune hoped to start the expansion plan of Asia in 2019 with the cooperation of King Mu.
The Masion Kitsune brand leader disclosed in an interview with foreign media that the strategic focus of 2019 was to open more Asian markets with the help of local partners in the region. Among them, mainland China, Taiwan and Indonesia were the first layout of the market. Masion Kitsune founder Gildas Loaec said China is the key market for brand Asian business.
However, in September this year, the cooperation ended abruptly. The two sides signed the agreement on shareholder dissolution. The two sides did not explain the reasons for the lifting of cooperation. It is believed that the reasons for the breakup may be due to divergent views on the development of foreign countries or changes in cooperation expectations.
