Egyptian Cotton Association Executive Director Visits China Cotton Association
Mr. Khaled Schuman, executive director of the Egyptian Cotton Association, visited the China Cotton Association in December 13th.
During the talks, Yang Zhaoliang, Deputy Secretary General of the China Cotton Association, introduced the association and its work to Fang Fang. Mr. Khaled Schuman introduced the general situation of Egypt Cotton Association and the usage of Egyptian cotton trademark. The two sides have conducted extensive exchanges and in-depth exchanges on further cooperation between the two countries. Egypt, as a major producer of long staple cotton, has a certain degree of awareness in the Chinese market. The two sides indicated that they would further strengthen cooperation and establish a liaison mechanism to explore the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding on Cooperation (MOU) and promote the development of Sino Egyptian cotton cooperation.
