This afternoon, the barrier free research center of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology jointly issued the first batch of barrier free garments, including the disabled, the disabled and the disabled.

In the No. 1 show at Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, the professional T stage, music and lighting are all open, creating dozens of wheelchair models. The models of disabled people are in full swing and confident in the wheelchair.

The clothes worn by the models are special and nothing special.

They are nothing special because they are common clothes, such as workplace, home, sports and so on. They are red, yellow, green, blue, suit, sweater, skirt, down garment, and so on. They are special because they have special design details so that the disabled can wear beautiful and comfortable clothes.

The orange raincoat has reflector stripes, and the limbs can be worn by hands only, and the cloth can cover the body and the wheelchair. The pink L down jacket allows the lower limbs of the sitting posture to keep comfortably warm. The cuffs are fitted with wear-resistant fabrics, with two big pockets on the thigh, which allow hands to keep warm; the sky blue sportswear has breathable design under the armpit, the front hem is short and the rear is long, convenient for sitting posture, even the socks are well matched, and the vivid colors and patterns make the whole person full of spirit.

Many disabled friends on the stage say that the inconvenience of wearing clothes has plagued them for many years. Ms. Li often needs to attend the meeting. Formal dress is less available for formal occasions. The jacket is short and small, and the lower waist is suitable. The wrinkles on the stomach will make the whole person look sloppy. The first barrier free dress that she released today made her yearn for it and hoped to be available as soon as possible.

Wang Qi, director of the Research Center for barrier free clothing at Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, said that the main task of the center is to build an integrated platform for barrier free clothing technology research, product development, production and application. According to the needs of people with disabilities, we design and develop clothes that are "well designed, affordable and affordable," and systematically study the design standards, production standards and safety standards of clothing with special needs, and fill gaps in the field in China. At present, the center has set up a database of physically disabled people, and has designed and developed 40 kinds of barrier free clothing, such as knitted sweater, down jacket, casual pants, suit suit, dress, etc., which is suitable for people with disabilities to wear indoors, outdoors, work and leisure.

Next, the center will also start the design and development of the underwear for the disabled, and hope that the future will have the participation of the caring enterprises, and really push the products to the market for the benefit of the disabled.
