    Scientists Advocate The Concept Of Green Chemistry On Science

    In the latest issue of Science, the paper, entitled "the future of green chemistry", calls for materials and chemicals to build a social and economic foundation for the future of mankind to be green rather than toxic, renewable, not disposable, and biodegradable rather than permanent.
     
    The thesis is written by the research team led by Yale University, and plans a clear picture of the future.
     
    "The basic idea is that the green chemistry system should be the foundation of future chemical processes," said Hanno Erythrope, associate professor of green chemistry and green engineering, Yale University. He explained that under normal circumstances, we are concerned only with the efficiency and cost of chemical reactions, without considering the potential impact on the entire life cycle. In terms of chemical production, from design stage to production and use to pollution disposal, systematic thinking is needed to create sustainable, non-toxic and recyclable chemical systems.
     
    In the paper, they think that the future chemical industry should not repeat the mistakes of the past century, and the frontier research and innovation of green chemistry is verifying this. They emphasized that progress in green chemistry has begun to re invent plastics and penetrated into pharmaceutical, agricultural, electrical, energy production and storage fields. The achievements so far are convincing, but this is only the beginning.
     
    Researcher Paul Anastas said: "compared with future advantages and potential, so far, the amazing achievements of green chemistry and green engineering will be overshadowed."
     
    Although there are many successful examples of green chemistry, they not only increase profits, but also have a better impact on human health, environment and sustainability, but they still belong to the exception of existing industries. Julie Zimmerman, senior vice president of academic affairs for F & E, said, on the contrary, "sustainability requires green chemistry and green engineering, so the future direction of development is clear and clear."
