At the same time, the rapid development of the textile and garment industry has also effectively promoted the continuous transformation and upgrading of cotton growing industry in Akesu. In recent years, on the basis of cotton precision seeding, precision fertilization and water-saving irrigation, Akesu region has encouraged cotton growers to harvest cotton, and has broken through the difficulties of low mechanization and high cost of picking flowers. In 2019, the cotton planting area in Akesu area reached 7 million 200 thousand mu, of which, the area of machine harvested cotton reached 2 million mu. At the time of preparation for farming, Wang Senlin, a large cotton farmer in the village of Igor, Tahe, this year, is preparing to further expand the planting area of machine picked cotton. "Last year, I planted 2000 mu of land for machine picking cotton, and found that the machine picked cotton was more time saving, labor-saving and labor-saving. The output of one mu of land could reach 450 kilograms, and the machine picked cotton cost less than seven hundred or eight hundred yuan per mu of land."

According to the plan, this year, the textile and garment industry in Akesu will achieve more than 8 million spindles, 165 million pieces of home textiles and garments, and 40 billion yuan of total industrial output value.
