Military Enterprises: Production Of Protective Clothing In Wartime State

After serious epidemics in Wuhan and Hubei, the SASAC quickly arranged to deploy conditionally available materials such as masks and protective clothing for the central enterprises. Ren Hongbin, deputy director of the State Council SASAC, said at a news conference held by the State Administration of new China on 18 July that in Wuhan and Hubei, there was a tight balance between medical masks and protective clothing in the case of serious epidemics. There were also shortages in some areas. In the past two weeks, the SASAC and the central enterprises have actively invested in the protection of important medical materials.

First, we should quickly arrange the deployment of qualified and capable central enterprises to expand production. Before the outbreak, central enterprises basically had no layout in medical protective clothing and medical masks. But after the outbreak of the epidemic, these enterprises moved and moved quickly to expand production. For example, Guhua shares, which are emerging from inter China, were formerly mainly engaged in the supply of Quartermaster products such as military uniforms, clothing and clothing. After receiving instructions on production of protective clothing, the company quickly transferred production, purchased equipment and trained staff to invest in the production of protective clothing in wartime.

In February 16th, Xinxing China group produced 56 thousand and 800 sets of protective clothing on the same day, including 45 thousand and 100 medical protective clothing. As of February 16th, the group has produced 322 thousand sets of medical protective clothing and 84 thousand sets of non medical protective clothing. Their production is now more than 1/3 of the total production of medical protective clothing in the whole country. Recently, they are still trying to figure out how to further expand the daily production of protective clothing.

Other enterprises with qualified conditions in central enterprises are also actively investing in the production of protective clothing. Heng Tian Jia Hua, a member of the National Machinery Group, is an enterprise engaged in the production of non-woven fabrics. They have switched the production of medical masks as fast as possible. By February 13th, 11 flat mask production lines have been opened in succession, and now the production capacity of 1 million 100 thousand masks has been formed daily.

Two, we should actively utilize the advantages of the central enterprises' industrial chain and jointly promote the capacity upgrading with private enterprises. Polypropylene is a product of China Petroleum and Sinopec. They use the relationship between upstream and downstream of the industrial chain to look for those downstream enterprises that have the ability of producing masks. They have built 11 medical masks production lines and provided raw materials by Sinopec. By this way of cooperation, by February 16th, their daily production of medical masks has reached 620 thousand. It is understood that this output is also increasing every day.

The three is to organize central enterprises to carry out overseas procurement of medical materials. We should give full play to the role of the three important procurement platforms of the National Pharmaceutical Group, general technology group and Huarun group, and actively purchase all kinds of protective clothing, masks, goggles, gloves and other safeguard materials from abroad and at home and submit them to the unified deployment of the state. At the same time, 26 central enterprises have played a lot of advantages from overseas branches. They have intensified efforts to purchase medical supplies from overseas. They have donated 1 million 744 thousand medical masks purchased abroad to Hubei, 61 thousand and 800 medical protective clothing, 27 thousand medical goggles and 348 thousand pairs of medical gloves.

Four, we should fully promote the development and production of equipment such as mask machines and layering machines. State machine group, general technology group, aviation industry group, China shipbuilding group and ordnance industry group have been developing and developing rapidly. The plane mask production equipment of the national aircraft group is expected to achieve mass production before the end of February. The first batch of prototype has been successfully developed. At the same time, the research and production preparation work of these medical N95 mask machines and layering machines has begun and will be put into production as soon as possible to solve the bottleneck problem of the current masks and layering machines.
