Michelin Group Will Produce Protective Masks
According to the April 7th report of the Figaro, Michelin group is a French tire manufacturer, which operates in 127 countries around the world. The group announced in April 7th that it will launch three factories in Troyes, France, Le P Ang Vee (Puy-en-Velay) and Clermont-Ferrand (Clay Montferrand) to produce 1 kinds of respirators.
Florent Meneg, President of Michelin group, said that these protective materials will be distributed to group workers and health care workers who are gradually resuming production and reproducing Florent Menegaux. The group also plans to work with CEA (energy, industry, national defense and Security Research Center) to create a new generation of FFP2 masks.
In addition, Florent Menegaux also said that the group has the capability to "manufacture respirator parts". He said he supported France's only breathing apparatus manufacturer's liquid air group and said it was developing "assembling and producing another ventilator project".
When asked about the health measures taken for the resumption of workers' work, Michelin president pointed out that, first of all, workers volunteered to return to work. Secondly, the group has established a systematic hand washing system, measuring the body temperature from two meters to the factory entrance. The inner door is also kept open to reduce the risk of exposure.
