He stressed that the textile and clothing institute should closely focus on the needs of Shandong's textile industry, with the development of Shandong's textile and garment industry chain lagging behind, and the support of science and technology for high-quality development of the industry, so as to promote scientific and technological innovation and high-level personnel training in textile industry. It is necessary to create a new way to increase the cross combination of disciplines such as textile and materials, medicine, environment, control, and art, and grasp the industry standard and step out of the road of high technology innovation. We must strive to build a high level and highly dynamic scientific research team and adopt a horse racing mechanism to stimulate the vitality of scientific research and innovation.
