Qiyang County Textile Shoe Industry Chain Construction Meeting Held

On the morning of August 21, Qiyang County textile shoe industry chain construction work meeting was held in the county administrative center.

The meeting conducted a comprehensive analysis and scheduling of the industrial chain construction from January to July, summarized the achievements, built confidence, compared with the objectives, found gaps, solicited opinions and provided excellent services, and worked hard to promote the healthy and rapid development of the industrial chain.

Qiyang County has developed 36 light textile shoe-making enterprises, including 21 enterprises above the scale. Although affected by the epidemic situation, the county's light textile and shoe-making industry still maintained a good development momentum in the first half of this year. From January to July, 36 light textile and shoe-making enterprises achieved a total output value of 4.68 billion yuan, an increase of 4.6%. Among them, Dongjun textile, Kaisheng shoes and other leading enterprises achieved output value of 710 million yuan and 940 million yuan respectively. In the fourth centralized contract signing and start-up activities of Qiyang County on August 18, 8 light textile shoe-making enterprises were newly introduced with a total investment of 2.6 billion yuan; 5 light textile shoe-making projects were newly started, with an investment of 380 million yuan; and 4 new projects were put into operation.

Chen Xiaoping pointed out that textile shoe-making is the core industry and pillar industry of the whole county, as well as the advantageous industry and characteristic industry of the whole city. We must see the advantages of the textile shoe industry chain. Therefore, all departments at all levels must recognize the situation, enhance confidence, and work with entrepreneurs to build the textile and footwear industry into the leader of the city, the brand of the whole province and the base of the whole country. We should see the problems clearly and find out the shortcomings. In terms of lagging industrial planning, low technological content, weak factor guarantee and poor business environment, all departments and enterprises should pay attention to it and form a good situation of mutual support, cooperation and coordination. At the same time, it is necessary to distinguish responsibilities and work together in industrial planning, investment promotion and service optimization, so as to promote the continuous development of the textile and footwear industry chain.
