From January To September, China'S Textile And Clothing Exports Increased By 9.4% Year On Year

According to statistics, in the first three quarters of this year, China's textile and clothing export volume was 215.78 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 9.4% (in terms of RMB, a year-on-year increase of 12.3%), and an increase of 6.2 percentage points over the first half of the year.

From January to September, China's textile exports reached 117.95 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 33.7% (in terms of RMB, a year-on-year increase of 37.5%), maintaining a rapid growth trend, and the export growth rate increased by 5.9 percentage points compared with the first half of the year. In addition, in the first three quarters, China's clothing export reached US $97.83 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 10.3% (in terms of RMB, a year-on-year decrease of 8.1%), and the growth rate increased by 9 percentage points compared with the first half of the year.

In September, China's textile exports reached US $13.15 billion, a year-on-year increase of 36.0% (in terms of RMB, a year-on-year increase of 34.7%). Although the growth rate of that month was somewhat lower than that of previous months, the growth rate of China's textile export remained high in the second and third quarters.

Since the second half of the year, the situation of clothing export has continued to improve. In September, the clothing export volume reached US $15.23 billion, an increase of 6.5% (in terms of RMB, a year-on-year increase of 5.3%), and a positive growth trend was maintained for two consecutive months. At present, the stable industrial chain supply chain of China's textile industry is also attracting some overseas orders to return.
