Aksu region is a large cotton planting area. It is estimated that the total cotton (lint) production will reach 1013300 tons, with a year-on-year increase of 3800 tons. The average yield of cotton (lint cotton) was 135.41 kg, of which the yield of upland cotton was 138.7 kg, with a year-on-year increase of 3.14 kg / mu; the yield of long staple cotton was 94.31 kg, with a year-on-year increase of 7.41 kg / mu.

Up to now, cotton enterprises in Aksu region have purchased 2.45 million tons of seed cotton. Among them, 2.37 million tons of fine cotton and 80 thousand tons of long staple cotton were purchased.
