Shanghai Textile Museum, located on the South Bank of Suzhou River, is the former site of Shanghai Shenxin textile factory No.9. The history and culture of Shanghai's textile industry has been interpreted by the magnificent preface hall, the rich history museum, the space-time coherent collection hall, the interactive and overlapping Science Museum, the Beijing Kunming opera Costume Museum and the Textile Museum.

In the long history, textile industry has always been the mother industry and people's livelihood industry in Shanghai and even the whole country.
