New "La Haine" Theme Capsule Series Of CARHARTT WIP Officially Announced
La haine, released in 1995, was filmed by French director Mathieu kassovitz. This time, he joined hands Carhartt WIP Cooperate to create a new capsule series for the 25th anniversary of the film's birth.
The film is presented in black and white, with a real incident of police violence in Paris 18 District in 1993 as the background, and tells the story of three marginalized youth. With this film, director Mathieu kassovitz won the best director award in the main competition unit of the 48th Cannes International Film Festival.
According to Meile taochao brand collection, the series continues the black and white color of the film, and the series items are presented in black and white monochrome, bringing a certain combination of T-shirt, Hoodie and sweater.
The behind the scenes images taken by photographer Gilles Favier have become the main visual element. CARHARTT WIP pays homage to the 1995 film, which reflects the youth culture and street scenes in Paris at that time.
