On December 29, the establishment of Dazhou ramie textile apparel industry alliance and the licensing conference of Ramie Textile Industrial Park were held in Dazhu.

Dazhou ramie textile and apparel industry alliance was formally established in Dazhu County to speed up industry cooperation and exchange, realize resource integration and group development, and jointly promote the development of ramie textile and clothing industry. At the meeting, Dazhou Ramie Textile Industrial Park of Dazhu County and Dazhou ramie garment processing Industrial Park of Quxian county were awarded, and the chairman unit and vice chairman unit were awarded the license. The first batch of members of the alliance was 61.

It is understood that Dazhou ramie textile apparel industry alliance consists of 37 unit members and 24 individual members.

The constitution of the alliance is clear, aiming to unite the units and individuals engaged in ramie textile and apparel industry, integrate the resources of ramie textile and apparel industry, provide technical consulting services, develop new products, and build an information exchange platform, so as to achieve the purpose of expanding and strengthening the ramie textile and apparel industry.

According to the regulations, we will carry out investigation and Research on the development of ramie textile and clothing industry, provide opinions and suggestions on the development of ramie textile and clothing industry and economic policies to the government, promote the construction of textile raw material base, realize the standardized planting of ramie, the standardization of polyester staple fiber and ramie processing, ensure the quality of raw materials for ramie textile and apparel industry, and build ramie textile and apparel industry It also undertakes the technical training, consulting services, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, promotion and application of ramie textile and clothing research and development institutions, production and operation enterprises, and employees.

At the founding ceremony, Dazhou announced its industrial goals: strive to achieve 100 ramie textile and clothing industrial enterprises in the city by 2023, with the output value of Enterprises above the designated size reaching 6 billion yuan, initially forming a national ramie fabric and ready-made clothing production cluster; by 2025, the output value of Enterprises above the designated size will reach 10 billion yuan, and the national ramie fabric and ready-made clothing production base will be built.

Dazhou has always been an important raw ramie production base and trading market in China, and ramie industry is also the traditional advantageous characteristic industry of Dazhou. This year, the total area of ramie planting in this city is 155000 mu, accounting for 77.1% of the national planting area, and the total output value is close to 500 million yuan; in terms of output, Dazhou's ramie production accounts for more than 70% of the country's, while China's output accounts for 90% of the world's. Therefore, there is a saying among the people that "the world's Ramie looks at China, and China's Ramie looks at Dazhou.".

Among them, Dazhu County has a ramie planting area of 135000 mu, which has successively won the titles of "national ramie standardization demonstration base" and "Sichuan ramie textile base", and is a "one county, one industry" demonstration county determined by the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas. In September this year, the national hemp industry technology system Dazhu ramie industry promotion workstation was established.
