Textile Enterprises Demand Stable Turnover, Inventory Continued To Decline

In June, the operating rate of textile enterprises remained high, the overall production and sales of the downstream market were smooth, the market consumption was good, and the cotton demand was still strong. At the end of the month, the domestic cotton turnover inventory continued to decline, and the decline rate was narrowed month on month. According to the survey data of 154 cotton delivery and supervision warehouses in 18 provinces and cities of the national cotton trading market by the cotton logistics branch of China Cotton Association, the total turnover inventory of cotton in China was about 2.6894 million tons at the end of June, with a month on month decrease of 238600 tons, which was smaller than that of last month, and was lower than 37700 tons in the same period of last year.

1、 Turnover stock of commodity cotton in mainland China decreased

By the end of June, the turnover inventory of commercial cotton in mainland China was 686600 tons, with a decrease of 32700 tons on a month on month basis; It contains 585400 tons of Xinjiang cotton, 60600 tons of imported cotton and 40600 tons of local cotton.

In terms of provinces, Jiangsu Province ranks first in terms of inventory of 248300 tons, followed by Henan Province with 179300 tons, Shandong Province ranks third with 176800 tons, Hebei Province with 28800 tons, Hubei Province with 28600 tons, and other provinces are all below 10000 tons.

From the change of inventory, some provinces with large consumption showed different degrees of decline, among which Shandong Province had the largest decline, with a decline of 16900 tons; Henan Province took the second place, with a decrease of 7100 tons; In other provinces, the decline was less than 5000 tons. The inventory situation of some provinces increased slightly compared with that of last month, among which Zhejiang Province slightly increased by 14000 tons and Hunan Province increased by 11000 tons on a month on month basis.

2、 Xinjiang cotton inventory drops sharply

As of the end of June, the turnover inventory of commodity cotton in 43 warehouses in Xinjiang was 1.5124 million tons, a decrease of 457800 tons on a month on month basis and a decrease of 87200 tons on a year-on-year basis.
