Recently, the Ministry of Commerce announced the list of 100 foreign trade transformation and upgrading bases. Taishan District is considered as a national level foreign trade transformation and upgrading base of the textile and garment industry. It is one of the four textile and garment industry bases in the list of 105 National Foreign Trade Transformation and upgrading bases in China, with only one in Shandong Province.

This is the "national" brand base named and recognized by the Ministry of Commerce after Taishan District was rated as "provincial foreign trade transformation and upgrading demonstration zone" and "provincial processing trade gradient transfer key undertaking area".

For a long time, the textile industry in Taishan District has a strong development trend, and has become the leading industry and important livelihood industry in Taishan District. For this reason, Taishan district should guide it to promote transformation development, open development, green development and harmonious development, and cultivate greater and stronger development aftereffect.

In order to achieve the high-quality development of textile and clothing, Taishan District promotes the five in one integrated development mode of "characteristic industry cluster + international independent brand + cross-border e-commerce + comprehensive service enterprises + overseas marketing network", scientifically formulates development plans, carefully delimits industrial parks, comprehensively introduces supporting policies, and strives to create a development environment to build industrial clusters, Accelerate the cultivation of competitive advantages, so that the textile and clothing industry to maintain a strong development momentum and strong vitality, showing the integration of new formats of development, continuous improvement of R & D capacity, sustained release of brand effect, comprehensive optimization of export structure, effective response to trade friction, and stable growth of foreign trade performance.

In particular, in terms of the integration and development of new business forms, the collaborative development of "textile and garment base, Renault cross-border platform, Dongsheng foreign trade platform and daiyin overseas warehouse" has been adopted to establish a whole foreign trade ecological chain and one-stop service, which has spawned more than 30 new export enterprises, attracted more than 100 small and medium-sized enterprises to settle in, and drove small and medium-sized enterprises to go out to sea in groups and borrow warehouses, The ability to open up the international market has been continuously enhanced. The textile and clothing import and export volume of the whole region has increased by more than 12% annually, accounting for more than 40% of the total import and export volume of the whole region, and the share of the "belt and road" and emerging markets has remained above 67%.

According to statistics, there are 66 textile and garment enterprises in Taishan District, including 35 large-scale enterprises and 12800 employees. The annual output value is 16.07 billion yuan, and the annual tax revenue is 1.17 billion yuan. The annual import and export volume accounts for 40% of the total foreign trade volume of the whole region. It has 5 high-tech enterprises with annual R & D investment of more than 12%, more than 100 patents, 15 independent brands, 3 provincial famous brands and 3 provincial famous trademarks.

Zhou Tao, director of the Bureau of Commerce of Taishan District, said that it would give full play to the demonstration and leading role of the base and provide strong support for the construction of a new development pattern by taking measures such as cultivating characteristic industrial clusters, striving for international independent brands, developing cross-border e-commerce, integrating and cultivating comprehensive service enterprises, and accelerating the layout of overseas marketing network.
