The National Bureau of Statistics recently announced that in November, retail sales of consumer goods totaled 41043 billion yuan, up 3.9% year on year; It is 9.0% higher than that in November 2019, with an average growth rate of 4.4% in two years. From a month on month basis, the total retail sales of consumer goods increased by 0.22% in November. From January to November, the total retail sales of consumer goods reached 39955.4 billion yuan, up 13.7% year-on-year, and 8.2% higher than that from January to November 2019.

In November, the retail sales of clothing, shoes, hats, needles and textiles reached 148.4 billion yuan, down 0.5% year-on-year; From January to November, the retail sales of clothing, shoes, hats, needles and textiles reached 1236.3 billion yuan, up 14.9% year-on-year. From January to November, the national online retail sales reached 11874.9 billion yuan, up 15.4% year on year. Among them, the online retail sales of physical goods reached 98056 billion yuan, an increase of 13.2%, accounting for 24.5% of the total retail sales of consumer goods; In the online retail sales of physical goods, food, clothing and consumer goods increased by 18.8%, 11.1% and 13.1% respectively.
