The national advanced functional fiber innovation center is the 13th and the first national innovation center led by a private enterprise in China. It conducts cutting-edge research on new functional fiber materials, high-end fiber materials and textiles, and frontier fiber new materials. At present, the supply system of technological innovation supported by key laboratories, pilot bases and national textile testing centers has been established.

An innovative product often needs to go through several stages, such as laboratory research and development, small scale test, pilot scale test and industrial mass production. The "pilot test" is a very critical stage, which is often called the "valley of death" of innovation.

On May 10, the truck loaded with precision remote control instruments set out at the first time after some key enterprises in Shanghai resumed production. So far, the final batch of equipment in the pilot base was delivered. "After the equipment entered the site, we coordinated the installation unit to work overtime, and completed the normal one month installation and commissioning work in only 15 days," Xu said.

Xu Song introduced that the construction standard of the pilot plant is high and the task is heavy. In the first phase of the pilot test line of flame retardant fiber, more than 1000 sets of various types of equipment have been installed, nearly 100 sets of test and detection equipment have been installed, and more than 200000 inch mouth pipeline welding has been completed, and nearly 1000 tons of various types of materials have been used.

Since the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, the most important thing is to ensure the project duration and equipment installation progress. China Kunlun Engineering Co., Ltd. completed the design of the flame retardant pilot line. Since the design personnel of epidemic prevention and control could not be present, the project personnel solved the problem through remote video communication. At most, nearly 1000 people are working at the same time. The project team strictly implements the health code, travel code inspection, body temperature detection, wearing masks and other measures, but also sets the nucleic acid detection point to the construction site, and works overtime to ensure the construction progress of the project.
