Review Meeting Of Wool Textile Industry Cluster Held In Lixian County Of Hebei Province

On November 17, the pilot evaluation meeting of wool textile industry cluster in Lixian County, Hebei Province, organized by China Wool Textile Industry Association, was successfully held. The meeting focused on the current situation of wool textile industry in Lixian County, the adjustment and upgrading of regional industrial structure, regional brand building and development planning, etc., and combined with the field investigation.

In the early 1990s, the market share of wool textile and fur leather in the county accounted for more than 30% and 40% of the country respectively, creating the glory of "Southern Wenbei Li" and successively winning the honors of "China leather capital" and "textile powerful county". In recent years, with the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei and the planning and construction of xiong'an new area, the county's characteristic industries have been greatly developed. Lixian County takes the textile and clothing industry as the first industrial cluster, concentrating on transformation and upgrading to support industrial development. There are more than 900 supporting production and service enterprises in Lixian wool textile industry cluster, which are divided into 13 industries, including fiber, cashmere, double-sided cloth, wool spinning, fur cloth, weaving, printing and dyeing, gloves, towel, blanket, carpet, cotton clothing, etc., which are mainly concentrated in Xinxing, baichi, Guodan and other townships. Up to now, there are 48 Enterprises above Designated Size, 8 high-tech enterprises, 159 small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises, 3 specialized and special new enterprises, and 2 well-known trademarks in China. Hebei Province was named "Cotton County in 2021" in 2019.

According to the measures for the identification and management of pilot areas of wool textile industry cluster issued by China wool Association, the expert group made a comprehensive evaluation on the industrial status, industrial environment, industrial status and development capacity. It was unanimously agreed that the wool textile industry in Lixian County had a good foundation and the production and processing system of woolen yarn and woolen cloth was relatively perfect, and formulated policies and measures to promote the development of the cluster industry, It has established a coordination mechanism of cluster industry under the guidance of the government. The market share occupies an important position in similar clusters and industries in the country, with outstanding industrial characteristics. After scoring by experts, Lixian County has been approved to apply for "China's Woolen city".

Liu Jiaqiang pointed out that the county Party committee and the county government attach great importance to and vigorously support the adjustment and upgrading of wool textile enterprises, which is a strong support for the continuous development and innovation of Lixian wool textile industry and the maintenance of healthy and healthy development situation.
