Taiwan Businessmen And Enterprises Jointly Expand The Smart Clothing Market In The "Haibo Expo"
"Innovation brings new business opportunities and new markets for cross-strait cooperation in the textile and clothing industry." Peng Jinzhang, the sales manager of Taiwan Zhongrong Textile Co., Ltd., gained a lot when he came to Shishi City, Fujian Province, the "famous leisure clothing city in China" for the first time. With the theme of "integrating innovation and sharing fashionable new life", the 25th Cross Strait Textile and Clothing Expo (hereinafter referred to as "the Expo") was held in Shishi from April 18 to 20, attracting more than 200 textile and clothing enterprises from both sides of the Taiwan Straits to participate in the Expo and jointly exploring a new way of cooperation between the two sides of the Straits.
As the only professional textile and clothing exhibition in mainland China with the title of "cross-strait" at present, the Taiwan element on the "Maritime Expo" has always attracted manufacturers and visitors at home and abroad. The relevant person in charge of the organizing committee said that, through close contact with Taiwan Textile Industry Development Association and other institutions, leading Taiwan textile enterprises to participate in the exhibition, promoting the exchange and cooperation of new fabrics and new information between Shishi textile and clothing industry and Taiwan industry, is the highlight of each "Expo".
In the Taiwan Pavilion, many Taiwan textile enterprises bring new technologies for textile and clothing, focusing on various functional fabrics, accessories and end products, as well as some self-developed composite functional textiles, which are popular with manufacturers and buyers.
Peng Jinzhang brought the company's signature product - Ougen yarn during his trip. "Ougen yarn has a stable variety, good perspective, good fog effect and uniform brightness, and is suitable for dress and women's wear."
Peng Jinzhang, who has been deeply involved in the high-end dress and wedding fabric industry for many years, believes that with the diversification, internationalization, fashion and intelligence of the mainland textile fabric market, coupled with the change of people's consumption concepts and modes, dress fabrics are gradually entering the "home of ordinary people", ushering in a good opportunity.
"Smart fabrics and smart clothes make people healthier and more comfortable." Qiu Heming is the head of Taiwan Keyang International Enterprise Co., Ltd., engaged in the development, design and manufacturing of functional fabrics, and the products are mainly sold to European and American markets, "The ACODRY functional textile fabric in this exhibition, added with graphene materials, has the functions of cooling, moisture absorption, perspiration and UV resistance. It is light, thin and soft, and suitable for making high-end mountaineering clothes, sportswear, etc.".

Five years ago, Qiu Heming came to Shishi to build a factory and gradually expand the mainland market. "On the one hand, Shishi has a complete clothing industry chain, with a large market and many partners; on the other hand, it is close to Taiwan, convenient to go home, and has the same language and culture, which makes me very fond of it."
In Qiu Heming's eyes, with the improvement of living standards, more and more people pay attention to outdoor sports. The tourism and sports market is broad, and there is a large demand for high-end outdoor sports clothing; The clothes made of high-end textile fabrics that the company focuses on are just suitable for these mountaineers and sports enthusiasts.
Qiu Heming said that he expected to know more like-minded partners with the help of the "Expo" platform, cooperate in the field of smart fabrics and smart clothing, and rely on Shishi's booming cross-border e-commerce platform in recent years to sell products to further places.
