China Africa Textile And Garment Investment Matchmaking Conference Held In Changsha

On June 30, the China Africa Textile and Garment Investment Matchmaking Conference hosted by the China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce was held in Changsha. Li Fei, Vice Minister of Commerce, attended and delivered a speech.

Li Fei said that in recent years, China's textile and clothing exports to African countries have continued to grow, reaching 23.7 billion US dollars in 2022, accounting for nearly 15% of China's total exports to Africa. At the same time, China is also actively importing cotton and other products from Egypt, Benin, Burkina Faso, Sudan and other African countries to meet the diversified needs of the domestic market. Africa is increasingly becoming a new oasis for China's textile and clothing industry to invest abroad.
