Textile and garment people from all over the country went to Yanbian Prefecture. After visiting and learning about it, investment in Yanbian Prefecture caused heated discussion. Compared with the south, there are relatively few local clusters in the north to develop the textile and clothing industry. What advantages does Yanbian Prefecture have for well-known enterprises such as Youngor and Rabboni to settle down in succession? 　　 Shen Zhe: Yanbian textile industry started early. During the Japanese occupation period in 1937, a large chemical fiber pulp processing plant with wood as raw material was established in Kaishantun Town, Longjing City, and a flax raw material processing plant was established in Laotougou Town, Longjing City. Yanbian textile plant was established in 1948. In recent years, the Yanbian Prefecture Party Committee and the Yanbian Prefecture Government have attached great importance to the development of the textile and clothing industry, planned and laid out the "Northeast Asia Garment Processing Industrial Belt" along the border areas, and undertook the industrial transfer garment processing projects in the southeast coastal areas. After years of rapid development, it has formed a complete processing system of fashion, suits, work clothes, casual clothes, down jackets, underwear, bags, shoes and hats, epidemic prevention products and other categories. By the end of 2022, there are 78 textile and clothing enterprises in the prefecture, including 33 textile enterprises above designated size and 45 enterprises below designated size. The total output value of textile industry is nearly 4 billion yuan, accounting for about 5% of the total industrial output value of the prefecture.

　　 Shen Zhe: Yanbian Prefecture has comparative advantages in the development of textile and clothing industry, mainly in three aspects. First, regional advantages. Yanbian Prefecture is located at the junction of China, Russia and North Korea, and the geometric center of Northeast Asia. It has 9 ports to North Korea, 2 ports to Russia, and 1 international airport, with direct routes to "North, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen" and countries around the Sea of Japan. Second, policy advantages. Yanbian Prefecture is the superposition area of the three national strategies of western development, northeast revitalization, and Tumen River development and opening up. At the same time, it also enjoys a number of preferential policies, such as national regional autonomy, border revitalization, and national processing trade gradient transfer. It has Tumen River Region (Hunchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone, Yanji High tech Zone Helong National Border Economic Cooperation Zone and other national industrial parks. Hunchun Export Processing Zone has been upgraded to a national comprehensive bonded zone. Third, cultural advantages. Yanbian has a long history of human culture. It is the birthplace of the ancient Bohai Sea Kingdom and the East Xia Kingdom, the birthplace of the Manchu royal family, and the most well preserved area of Chinese Korean folk culture. Yanbian Prefecture, as the largest Korean gathering place in China and the only Korean autonomous prefecture in China, has similar folk customs and culture with North Korea and South Korea. Yanbian Korean nationality has completely and comprehensively inherited the essence of Korean culture, focusing on manufacturing and design at the same time, and has more potential for future development. 　　 Shen Zhe: At present, Yanbian Prefecture has formed two health oriented leading industries of food and medicine, accounting for 53.7% of the total industrial volume of the whole prefecture; Traditional industries, such as energy and minerals, equipment manufacturing, textile and clothing, wood products processing, accounted for 42.2% of the total industrial volume of the prefecture, of which textile and clothing accounted for about 5% of the total industrial volume of the prefecture. In addition, Yanbian Prefecture is accelerating the cultivation of new energy, optoelectronic information, new materials and other industries, among which, focusing on the two health oriented leading industries of medicine and food, it is accelerating the promotion of mineral water, ethnic food, ginseng, traditional Chinese medicine, biopharmaceuticals, medical beauty and other high value-added industries to become bigger and stronger.

　　 Shen Zhe: In recent years, many well-known domestic textile and clothing enterprises have invested in Yanbian Prefecture. By the end of 2022, there is one enterprise with an output value of more than 1 billion yuan, which is the world famous brand Youngor settled in Hunchun; There are 6 enterprises with more than 100 million yuan, including Hunchun Raboni, Tumen Hongrun, Longjing Pasifik, Helong Sanou, etc. The successful settlement and development of these enterprises have attracted the agglomeration of upstream and downstream supporting industries. At present, many industrial clusters have been formed, such as Hunchun International Textile and Clothing Industrial Park, Helongbian Hequ Clothing Industrial Park, Tumen Clothing Industrial Park, Longjing Textile and Clothing Industrial Park, and the textile and clothing industry has become the local pillar industry. In terms of regional brand building, it is mainly to strengthen resource integration, increase investment attraction, and promote the transformation of OEM to "Yanbian brand"; Carry out the self owned brand introduction project, set up production bases in the prefecture, and increase the brand effect of Yanbian; Strengthen publicity and promotion, promote the organic combination of national clothing industry and cultural tourism industry, and actively cultivate national clothing independent brands.

At present, there are 53 member units, and the whole industry presents a new situation of development in a group. Innovate and implement the "double chain long" system of textile and clothing, list the textile and clothing industry into the "ten major industrial clusters" that Yanbian Prefecture will focus on cultivating in the future, establish special work classes, and work together to promote industrial development. The Opinions of Yanbian Prefecture on Improving the Development Efficiency of Textile and Garment Industry was studied and formulated, the medium and long-term industrial development goals were planned, the hard measures to support the development of textile and garment industry were studied and issued, and good conditions were provided for entrepreneurs to settle in Yanbian through high-quality and efficient services.
