Shaanxi Province has recently identified 4 provincial economic and technological development zones. Among them, Shaanxi Qianxian Economic and Technological Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as "Qianxian Economic and Technological Development Zone") takes high-end equipment manufacturing and new textile and clothing industry as the leading industry, and Shaanxi Shangnan Economic and Technological Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as "Shangnan Economic and Technological Development Zone") takes light industry and electronics industry as the characteristic industry. So far, there are 29 provincial economic development zones in Shaanxi.

Among the four economic development zones identified this time, the new textile and clothing industry is one of the leading industries.

The leading industries of Qianxian Economic Development Zone are high-end equipment manufacturing and new textile and clothing industry. Qianxian County, located in the northwest of Xianyang City, is an important trade town on the ancient "Silk Road". The approved area of Qianxian Economic Development Zone is 316.71 hectares. The overall layout of Qianxian Industrial Park is "one zone and two parks", namely, Qianxian Industrial Park, Textile Industrial Park and Auto Parts Industrial Park. The leading industries are textile processing industry, clothing manufacturing, etc. At present, there are 43 enterprises settled, including 21 enterprises above designated size. The total industrial output value will reach 11.8 billion yuan in 2022.

In recent years, the Qianxian Industrial Park has formed a high-end equipment manufacturing enterprise cluster represented by Huatong Electromechanical Co., Ltd., and a high-tech, domestically leading textile industry cluster represented by Yinhua Textile and Tongrun Textile. The industrial agglomeration effect has gradually become prominent.

The reporter of China Textile News found that the first publicity of public participation in environmental impact assessment of the Overall Development Plan of Qianxian Economic and Technological Development Zone (2021-2035), released last year, clearly defined the planning orientation and functional zoning of Qianxian Economic and Technological Development Zone, and planned to form an industrial development pattern of "two centers and four districts". Two centers: comprehensive service center and entrepreneurship and innovation incubation center. Four zones: high-end equipment manufacturing industrial zone, new energy and new materials industrial zone, textile and clothing industrial zone, and intelligent logistics industrial zone.

"Textile and clothing is one of the traditional pillar industries in Qianxian County. Qianxian County will strengthen innovation drive, actively use external technology, resources and industry integration, accelerate the transformation of new and old drivers, and establish a higher level and more efficient industry system." In March this year, when the China Textile Industry Enterprise Management Association and a delegation investigated the textile enterprises in Qianxian County, Yan Xingbin, secretary of the Qianxian County Party Committee, said, "We will make every effort to create an optimal business environment, give full play to the scale effect, adhere to cluster and intensive development, boost enterprises to become bigger and stronger, and promote high-quality industrial development."

In this survey, a delegation led by China Textile Industry Enterprise Management Association visited Shaanxi Yinhua Textile Co., Ltd., Xianyang Yar'ai Garment Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Datang Cotton Co., Ltd. and other enterprises to investigate their production and operation, market sales, project construction and production processes. Zhu Guoxue, vice president and secretary-general of China Textile Industry Enterprise Management Association, suggested that enterprises make full use of advanced production equipment and technology, find the industrial balance point, integrate resources, improve product competitiveness, promote the improvement of quality and efficiency of the textile and clothing industry, and boost the textile and clothing industry in Qianxian County to achieve new breakthroughs.

The identified Shangnan Economic Development Zone is located in Shangluo City, with an approved area of 342.64 hectares. As mentioned in the First Public Participation Announcement on Regulatory Detailed Planning Environmental Assessment of Shaanxi Shangnan Economic and Technological Development Zone issued last year, the industrial orientation of Shangnan Economic and Technological Development Zone is characterized by light industry and electronic industry.

In recent years, Shangluo City has planned to develop the textile and clothing industry relying on the advantages of location, land, labor force, energy and so on. It focuses on cultivating the textile and clothing industry in some industrial parks with good industrial foundation, low logistics costs and strong supporting capacity, such as Danfeng, Shangnan, Zhashui, Zhen'an and so on.

Textile industry is one of the important traditional industries in Shaanxi Province. In recent years, Shaanxi Province has established the goal of building a strong province with modern textile industry. To this end, Shaanxi Province has improved the industrial chain, increased support, adjusted the industrial layout, vigorously developed industrial textiles, comprehensively improved the level of textile equipment manufacturing, and formed a textile industry development layout with cotton textile as the main body, including clothing and home textile, silk, printing and dyeing, textile machinery Scientific research institutions and other textile industry systems in the whole industry chain.

At present, Baqiao District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province has grown into a "Chinese textile industry base city", and Yulin City, Shaanxi Province has grown into a "famous city of wool winter clothing in China".
