China (Keqiao) Global Textile Industry Dialogue Held In Shaoxing International Convention And Exhibition Center

On the morning of November 4, 2023, the first "Silk Road Central Asia · Brics" China (Keqiao) - Global Textile Industry Dialogue was held in Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center. Representatives from China Textile Industry Federation, Shaoxing Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Central Asia and BRICS countries gathered together for a round table on the spot dialogue to explore new opportunities for textile industry trade cooperation.

Keqiao has always been a strong export area. In recent years, our district has actively integrated into the "double cycle", organized enterprises to "go out to sea" through the "Silk Road Keqiao · Global" action, launched the China Europe Express "Keqiao" and normalized its operation and other diversified measures, helping Keqiao textile enterprises to expand to the outside market and grab orders. From January to September this year, the export of the whole region reached 108.825 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 12.4%. The total export volume ranked first in the city, accounting for 6.18 ‰ of the national share, and the growth rate was 11.8, 8.0, and 0.1 percentage points higher than that of the whole country, the whole province, and the whole city.

Central Asia and the BRICS countries are the main export markets of our textile products, which are highly compatible with Keqiao in terms of textile industry supporting. This dialogue will further promote multilateral trade cooperation and bring new development opportunities for Keqiao textile.
