From March 20 to 21, Wang Yao, Vice President of China Cotton Textile Industry Association, and his delegation went to Peixian County, Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province for research, focusing on the operation of the local cotton textile industry and the production and operation of enterprises.

The enterprises investigated this time are spinning and weaving enterprises of a certain scale. It is understood that the current spinning scale in Peixian County is 3 million spindles, and the number of looms is about 1500. From the perspective of production and operation, the survey enterprise said that the order situation in the first half of 2024 was better than that in the earlier period. More than 80% of the products were indirectly exported. The main overseas markets were South America, Africa and other regions. The end products were mainly clothing fabrics, and some of them entered the home textile market. Peixian's yarn and cloth products mainly support the downstream markets in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, with relatively stable employment; Most enterprises avoid direct competition with textile mills in other regions of China because their products do not involve the use of cotton. Their product sales are relatively optimistic, but they are worried about the development of the future industrial layout. They believe that the trend of domestic and foreign transfer may accelerate.

In addition, the high-quality development goal of enterprises in Peixian County is clear, the degree of green manufacturing and intelligence is high, and attention is paid to energy conservation and consumption reduction and product quality management.
