Wang Cun, the second level inspector of the Provincial Department of Commerce, said that in recent years, Jiangsu has grasped the strategic basis of expanding domestic demand, adhered to the synergy between supply and demand, innovated new consumption modes, new methods and new paths, and further expanded the series of activities of "Jiangsu New Consumption" to promote the recovery of the consumption market in our province. In 2023, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Jiangsu Province will exceed 4.5 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.5% year on year, accounting for 9.7% of the national total, ranking second in the country; From January to February this year, the total retail sales of social consumer goods in the province increased by 6.1% year on year, 0.6 percentage points higher than that of the whole country.

The docking will promote cross provincial cooperation between upstream and downstream enterprises in related industries. At the scene, Suzhou Shanshui Silk Co., Ltd. signed an order of 5 million yuan with Fengxing Silk Reeling Factory in Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County, Liaoning Province. "Tussah silk is a unique textile raw material in northeast China. The thick and tenacious silk thread is very suitable for making art paintings, or for household items such as sofas and cushions." Zeng Binghai, general manager of Suzhou Shanshui Silk Company, said that the cooperation between the two sides will enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of products and better meet the needs of domestic and foreign trade markets.
