Beijing embroidery, also known as palace embroidery, is a traditional embroidery craft in ancient Chinese courts. Its history can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty. It began to flourish in the Song and Liao Dynasties, and is one of the eight unique skills in Yanjing. In 2014, Beijing Embroidery was included in the fourth batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.

In recent years, Longyao County, Hebei Province, relying on local garment production enterprises, has actively introduced traditional Beijing embroidery techniques, established an intangible cultural heritage base, provided free Beijing embroidery skills training for local women, guided them to make traditional hand embroidery products such as cheongsam, decorative paintings, trinkets, etc., and led more than 200 local women to achieve employment, So that this ancient art will bloom in the new era.
