Entering the spinning workshops of major textile enterprises located in the Cross Park of Langxi Economic Development Zone, the yarn shuttles fly and the machines rotate. From "one piece of silk" to "one piece of cloth", in 2024, Langxi County will find the right position, integrate resources, closely follow the direction of "high-end, intelligent, and green", fully promote the upgrading of the textile industry, and initially form a relatively complete textile industry chain of "weaving - printing and dyeing - finishing - finished products". At present, there are 96 textile enterprises in the county, including 81 enterprises above designated size, 7 national high-tech enterprises and 5 provincial specialized and special new enterprises.

Focusing on the goal of "10 billion textile industry", Langxi County accelerated industrial cultivation, cooperated with the Textile College of Donghua University to jointly build the "Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor Functional Textile Materials R&D Center", "Postgraduate Practice Base", and Anhui Agricultural University Light Textile College cooperated to build the first "Textile Science and Technology Academy" in China, Inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the textile industry.

Firmly establish the concept of "project as the king", focus on downstream fine processing, finished product manufacturing and other chain extension and reinforcement, and focus on tackling the leading enterprises in such industry segments as downstream processing, dyeing and finishing, functional fabrics, etc. Since 2023, it has successfully attracted 31 projects including Xianyi Textile with a total investment of 1.33 billion yuan, Xianmei Textile with a total investment of 1.226 billion yuan, with an agreed capital of 11.05 billion yuan, forming clothing 5 categories of industrial textiles such as home textiles and automobile interior decoration; 45 new textile projects with a total investment of 9.064 billion yuan; 39 textile projects were newly put into production with a total investment of 5.267 billion yuan.

Vigorously promote the "four batches", implement the "four batches" action to improve quality and efficiency of the textile industry for three consecutive years, from the four dimensions of "integration of industry and trade, capacity expansion and production increase, four modernizations transformation, and product upgrading", "one industry, one policy, one enterprise, one policy", promote the quality and efficiency of the textile industry, increase production and tax, and significantly improve enterprise confidence and development quality and efficiency. In the past three years, there have been 36 textile enterprise expansion projects in Phase II, with an average annual growth of more than 10 textile enterprises above designated size, an average annual growth of 55% of the average tax revenue per mu of textile enterprises, and an average annual growth of 11.6% of the sales volume per kilowatt hour.

Continuously improve supporting functions, carry out comprehensive improvement of the park environment, start and accelerate the construction of supporting projects such as industry city integration service center and green printing and dyeing industrial park, strengthen the functions of roads, pipe networks, heat supply and power supply, and continue to improve the environmental carrying capacity.
