Fall2007/jacket (左)　張曼玉參加黎時裝秀期間設計師的好友派對（右） Balenciaga的經典歷史： 1914年，西班牙時裝設計師Cristobal Balenciaga在其老家開設了第一間店，其后因戰亂遷往巴黎發展，就在這片時裝樂土，他憑天份和vision為時裝歷史寫下重要一章，他的經典不計其數，經他手上勾勒的square coat、balloon jacket、cocoon coat和sack dress等，無一不是今天再看都美麗如昔的作品。

Fall2005/black dress (左) 張曼玉《東西》雜志照（右） Nicolas與曼玉的默契： Nicolas Ghesquiere與Marc Jacobs、Alexander McQueen和John Galliano等雖同期入主巴黎big house，但未能打響頭炮，踏入千禧年他才扭轉敗局，筆下的Balenciaga人氣急升，他2000年獲VH1頒發Avant-Garde Designer Of The Year獎后，翌年又成為CFDA International Designer大獎得主，并且成為《時代》周刊100個最有影響力的人士，去年則為妮哥潔曼（ Nicole Kidman ）設計嫁衣，可算是國際時裝舞臺公認的其中一位最hip、最重要的設計師。
