The 8Th China (Shenzhen) International Fashion Festival Is About To Open

The huge ship "Shenzhen Fashion" set sail again - On December 15, 2022, the press conference of the 8th China (Shenzhen) International Fashion Festival was held in the multi-function hall of Building 1, Meiran Building, Futian District, Shenzhen. Zhou Shikang, director of the Fashion Festival Organizing Committee and president of Shenzhen Fashion Designers Association, announced the important activities and related plans of this year's Fashion Festival.

Zhou Shikang said that Shenzhen International Fashion Festival has witnessed and promoted the vigorous development of the fashion industry in the Bay Area in the past 10 years, and is an important platform to deliver confidence in fashion culture and promote high-quality development of the industry. As a heavyweight international fashion event after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, this Shenzhen Fashion Festival resonates with the Shenzhen Fashion Global Travel Activity at the same frequency, and the industry is looking forward to it, which is of great value and far-reaching significance.

According to President Zhou Shikang, China (Shenzhen) International Fashion Festival is hosted by Shenzhen Fashion Designers Association and China Textile and Clothing Education Association, and undertaken by Guangdong Fashion Culture Creative Industry Service Center and Shenzhen Fashion Week Culture Communication Co., Ltd., with the theme of "Fashion Shenzhen Global Sharing"; With the care and support of the municipal party committee, the municipal government and leaders at all levels, and after seven years of careful operation, the fashion festival has become an annual event for Shenzhen fashion design industry to gather design power at home and abroad, link global fashion resources, and also an important barometer and wind vane for global emerging fashion cities. In 2022, the main venue of the event will be located in Shenzhen Shuibei No.1, with 15 major events in five sectors: exhibition, show, competition, conference and festival. At that time, there will be famous fashion designers, brands, industry organizations, colleges and universities at home and abroad, and many industry elites from Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area cities. Shenzhen fashion home will become the focus of the global fashion industry.

As a landmark fashion festival in Shenzhen, this year's Shenzhen International Fashion Festival will continue to work on five platforms, namely, the information release platform, the production, education and research platform, the international exchange platform, the talent cultivation competition platform, and the clothing culture communication platform, focusing on building Shenzhen as a new fashion city, and launch more than 10 important activities, of which the highlights mainly include:

(5) The 7th China International Fashion Design Innovation Works Competition and the 7th China University Student Fashion Model Competition have cultivated fertile land for talents and built a highland for cultivating fashion talents in the Bay Area;

(6) "Ingenious Costume Presents Pengcheng" - Jin Xuan, Sun Xiuqin, Zhao Yakun, Lin Qi, Xiong Ying, Qian Xiaoli, Du Gang, Gong Hangyu, Chaole Dream, Bian Huizhong, Xu Xiaodan and other famous teachers presented a grand ceremony of Chinese costumes, expressing the inheritance of ingenuity and highlighting the charm of national style and culture;

(9) The 3rd China Textile and Garment Industry University Research Forum explored a new path for the transformation of industry university research achievements and jointly built a new ecology of fashion industry university research.
