China'S Clothing Prices Declined In March.

In March, the consumer price index increased by 8.3% compared with the same period last year.

Among them, urban areas and rural areas increased by 8% and 9% respectively, while the prices of non grain products, consumer goods and services rose by 1.8%, 10.4% and 1.8% respectively.

The consumer price index dropped by 0.7% compared with February.

The price of clothing dropped by 1.2% over the same period last year.

The prices of household appliances and maintenance services increased by 2.5% over the same period last year.

Among them, the price of durable consumer goods rose by 1.2%, and the price of family service and maintenance increased by 9.6%.

The price of entertainment and education has dropped by 0.7%.

Among them, tuition and infant care increased by 0.2%; education materials decreased by 0.3%; entertainment increased by 2.5%; tourism outdoors increased by 2.5%; and entertainment durable consumer goods decreased by 0.7%.

From January to March, the cumulative consumer price index increased by 8% over the same period last year.
