China Yangtze River Delta Garment Industry Development Summit Held In Shanghai
The China Yangtze River Delta garment industry development summit held by the three sides of the China Economic Research Institute, the Jintan Municipal People's government and the Jiangsu Vanward International Trade Co., Ltd. was jointly held in Shanghai International Conference Center in April 26th.
In recent years, China's clothing industry has been affected by factors such as international textile trade barriers, subprime mortgage crisis, weak dollar, appreciation of RMB, rising oil prices, rising raw materials, industrial restructuring, international capital penetration and control. Many enterprises have closed down due to capital problems, and some garment enterprises have even dropped to below 5% profit. The development of China's garment industry is facing severe challenges. At the forum, Cao Zelin, the president of the Chinese Academy of economic research and Li Lin, vice mayor of Jintan, and other leaders and industry elites, on the issue of upgrading China's apparel industry chain, developing strategies, upgrading the brand of enterprises, and developing new business models such as outlets, will make an in-depth exposition and discussion from different angles in order to provide suggestions for China's garment industry to face a new round of industrial pformation and development. 300 experts and scholars from the industry attended the forum and talked about the current situation of garment industry in China.
