Xinji Leather Productivity Promotion Center Upgraded To National Level

Recently, the Ministry of science and technology announced the seventh batch of national demonstration productivity promotion centers.

In this list, Xinji leather productivity promotion center with independent legal person qualification, international quality system certification and outstanding service performance is selected.

The Xinji leather Productivity Promotion Center was set up in 2003 by the joint development company of the science and Technology Bureau of the city, the German leather technology development and testing center of LANXESS (China), and the technical cooperation relationship with more than ten colleges and universities, such as Sichuan University, which has the State Key Laboratory of Leather Chemistry and engineering of the Ministry of education.

Through the service operation mode of free (minus) fee, "prescribing" and "selling drugs", the center helps enterprises solve technical problems, accept commissioned tests and provide new technology, new technology and other technical services, and promote the popularization and application of new energy saving and environmental protection materials. In order to solve the development difficulties of many small leather production enterprises, lack of professional and technical personnel, and lack of independent innovation ability, a public service platform has been set up.

In the past three years, the center has undertaken 6 items of science and technology tackling key projects in various provinces and municipalities, and achieved 10 scientific and technological achievements. 2 of them have reached the international advanced level, and 6 have ranked the leading level in the country.
