The Investment Boom Has Been Limited By The Plastic Limit.
That's the way it goes.
The "plastic limit" is both a hot topic in the nonwoven industry, which is commonly known as "non-woven fabrics".
In China's nonwoven production base, Xia Lu Town, Shaoxing County, local enterprises invested 250 million yuan to introduce 4 non-woven production lines to be put into operation. The annual capacity is expected to reach 50 thousand tons, accounting for nearly 30% of the total domestic production of non-woven fabrics.
In addition, some original bags processing plants prepare new workshops for the production of non-woven bags, and many clothing factories also aim at non-woven "business opportunities" and begin to pform the production of environmental shopping bags.
According to the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, the future market demand of degradable plastic packaging products in China is about 2 million tons. According to the average price of 20 thousand yuan per ton, the national market will have a huge business opportunity of 40 billion yuan.
For degradable nonwoven shopping bag products, its potential to replace the ultra-thin plastic bag market is worth looking forward to.
investment boom
In the face of the "plastic restriction" new deal, everyone seems to see business opportunities.
Zhang Jin, a nonwovens operator of China Textile City in Shaoxing, has increased the price of non-woven fabrics from nearly 14 thousand yuan / ton to nearly 16 thousand yuan in the past month.
A simple, non-woven shopping bag of A4 size paper costs more than 1 yuan, while the price of bags sold in supermarkets ranges from 3 yuan to 5 yuan.
"As long as we sell 2 yuan each, the profits will be considerable."
Zhejiang Yuan Li nonwovens Co., Ltd. sales staff for the soldier, frankly speaking, its output increased by more than 20% over the previous quarter, every day can receive some new customer orders, in order to increase production capacity, the company has introduced dozens of equipment.
Mr. Luo, Shaoxing Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. said, "plastic restriction" has great influence on the upstream plastic machinery industry.
Recently, the company has decided to set up a lathe project specializing in the manufacture of non-woven fabrics.
According to the introduction, non-woven fabric is a kind of chemical fiber product. It is a directional or random strut of textile staple fiber or filament, forming a web structure, and then reinforced by mechanical, thermal or chemical methods.
A non-woven shopping bag can be completely decomposed within 90 days.
According to the data released by the National Bureau of statistics, in the first quarter of 2008, the gross profit margin of the non-woven industry was 9.43%, and the ratio of three charges (the sum of business, management and financial expense rates) was 6.70%, with a profit margin of 4.10%.
Experts said that in the past 5 years, with the increase of infrastructure and consumption level in various parts of the country, the output of non-woven fabrics increased by 15% annually.
Under the "plastic restriction" policy, the competition of non-woven industry will become more intense.
Among them, the largest province is Zhejiang Province, with an output of 40 thousand and 800 tons.
Replace hidden worries
There are different views on the impact of "plastic restriction" on the non-woven industry.
Insiders pointed out that in 2006, the production capacity of China's nonwovens reached around 2 million 100 thousand tons / year, and the total population of the whole country could be 4 million 500 thousand to 5 million tons / year, according to projections of 3.5 to 3.8 kg of per capita nonwovens occupied by European and American countries.
This shows that China's nonwovens still have great potential for development and good prospects for development.
However, Zhu Minru, chairman of China Industrial Textiles Association, publicly appealed that "no plastic" should not be blindly invested in non-woven fabrics.
Nonwoven bags have been produced all the time, but their cost is higher than that of plastic bags, so they have not been widely used.
The introduction of the "ban on plastic products" will certainly provide some opportunities for the nonwoven industry, but its usage will not be as big as that of plastic bags, and its profits will also be diluted.
Zhu Minru believes that China's nonwovens industry is facing a serious shortage of talent. The production of non-woven bags must pay attention to the cost, waterproof, oil and antifouling, and recycling problems.
"Non-woven bags can not be directly recovered spinning, should guard against the two pollution problem."
"Non-woven fabric itself is also a chemical product, not the best substitute."
Shaoxing entrepreneur Zhou said that the raw material composition of the nonwoven industry is roughly 63%: polypropylene, 23% polyester, 8% viscose, 2% acrylic fiber, 1.5% polyamide, and 3% remaining fiber.
From the perspective of resource industry, the production costs of these upstream raw materials are increasing year by year, and the production process is still under the pressure of environmental protection.
Therefore, it is perhaps more important to change the public's consumption concept when seeking alternative products of other natural fibers.
Meanwhile, according to Shaoyang, the Secretary General of the spun nonwovens branch of the China Association of industrial textiles, the agency is now working on the formulation of the spunbonded nonwoven shopping bag industry standard and standardizing the production behavior of enterprises.
The standard is expected to come out soon.
