Zhengzhou Qu Liang Clothing Industrial Park Wants To Become The National Clothing Tail Cargo Base.

In June 13th, on the second day of the opening of the Zhengzhou Fashion Expo, Shandong and Guangdong, Shaanxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Henan and other provinces garment associations and garment manufacturers gathered in Xinmi and Qu Liang garment industrial park to participate in the signing ceremony of the national garment tail cargo base and clothing manufacturers.
At the ceremony, the Shandong Clothing Association officially signed a contract to run the Zhengzhou Qu Liang Clothing Industrial Park Yongan Street national clothing tail goods wholesale market; Shenzhen red dragon clothing company and Guangdong attachment apparel company signed the agreement for entering into gardens, the initial start-up capital was 200 million yuan.
According to the introduction, the so-called "clothing tail cargo" is the rest of the products (commodities), mainly composed of three types of products: first, the products that are mostly produced when the order is completed, and the products that are not yet passed through the extension, the wrong boat and the sampling inspection; the first is the over season and unsalable products of the clothing manufacturers and dealers; the first is the stock goods of the brand manufacturers.
Generally speaking, in order to ensure that the processing enterprises produce enough qualified products, brand manufacturers often purchase more raw materials according to the quantity of orders, so that the processing enterprises will have a partial surplus after the order is delivered, thus forming the "tail cargo".
According to the clothing industry data, this part of the tail cargo generally accounts for 6%~20% of orders, or even up to 30%.
When a manufacturer or distributor has completed 60% of the sales of a batch of goods, it usually makes a reasonable profit. In the case of seasonal changes and updates of style, the prior goods will be dumped at a price below the cost to cash in.
In addition, in order to protect the brand, brand manufacturers will store the goods due to over season, obsolete and unmarketable goods, which will be sealed up in the warehouse and will only enter the market after 2~5 years.
Many foreign trade enterprises therefore backlog a large number of inventory goods, then entering the tail cargo market is the best way to cash in cash quickly.
According to Li Gang, Secretary General of Henan garment industry association, in fact, China has an amazing volume of tail cargo. In 2007 alone, there were 18 billion pieces of clothing sold in the whole country, and about 3 billion 600 million pieces were formed.
The biggest feature of clothing tail goods is good quality and low price. Judging from the current market situation, the retail price of goods at about 20 yuan is the largest proportion.
In Zhengzhou, the purchase of clothing tailing has also become a favorite affair among many Amoy people. According to Li Gang's preliminary estimate, there are about 700 stores in Zhengzhou specializing in the sale of foreign trade and brand discount clothing. Their supply is basically from the tail cargo of export processing enterprises such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Fujian and Shandong. Because of the small pportation cost plus small quantity of goods, the sales of foreign trade clothing are higher and the profits are lower.
The national garment tail cargo base built in the main garment producing areas in Shandong, Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other provinces of garment export will be built on the basis of the advantages of Central Plains, which will provide wholesale and more fashionable clothing for local merchants.
It is reported that Zhengzhou Qu Liang garment industrial park Yongan Street national clothing tail cargo wholesale market will open in September 28th.
