22 Warm Enterprises Unveiled The Hongkong Fashion Festival On The 8 Day To Enter The International Market With Regional Brands.
The 2009 spring summer series of the Hongkong Fashion Festival sponsored by the Hongkong Trade Development Council will be held at the Hongkong Convention and Exhibition Center. The 22 garment enterprises of the Wenzhou clothing trade association, including the Austrian family, the red, yellow and blue, Teng Xu and so on, have taken 50 booths. They will present the exhibition with a unified overall image and seek to enter the international trade area with regional brands.
Hongkong Fashion Festival, the two session of the year, has attracted the attention of Wenzhou counterparts because of the "Wenzhou Pavilion" this year.
In addition to more than 60 exhibitors, there will be more than 120 professionals, including Ting Ji, kynya and Heng Mei.
Zhang Qiongyao, Secretary General of the Wenzhou clothing trade association, said that Wenzhou fashion enterprises attached great importance to Hongkong Fashion Festival because the Hongkong garment industry had a strong complementary role with the Wenzhou garment industry. The Wenzhou garment industry, which was famous for its manufacturing and processing, just lacked the advantages of Hongkong's clothing trade in terms of Commerce, design and display.
Zhang Qiongyao believes that the Wenzhou apparel trade association will organize the Hongkong Fashion Festival on a large scale. It will create three "first": the Wenzhou clothing trade association has organized the first large-scale delegation to go abroad to participate in the exhibition. It is also the first industry trade association that won the direct support from the municipal Bureau of foreign trade and economic cooperation.
She said that the output value of Wenzhou clothing last year was about 48000000000 yuan, an increase of 20% over the same period last year, while the export volume was only 1 billion 170 million yuan, an increase of only 2.89% compared with the same period last year, and the growth of foreign trade was obviously weak.
Zheng Chenai, President of Wenzhou clothing trade association, said that under the current macro-control situation, Wenzhou clothing enterprises are generally facing various survival pressures such as rising raw material prices and raising labor costs. Wenzhou garment enterprises must actively explore the international market access.
The Hongkong Fashion Festival is to take advantage of Hongkong's international trade hub to take the "first stop to the world's clothing market".
It is learnt that the Wenzhou Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau will host a "Wenzhou Hongkong fashion promotion conference" which will promote Wenzhou's clothing in the evening of July 8th.
Pan Pingping, deputy director of the Wenzhou Municipal Bureau of foreign trade and economic cooperation, said he hoped that the exhibition of Wenzhou clothing could successfully achieve the expected goal, and will also promote Wenzhou's other industries to "go out" in the future.
