The Fourteenth China International Textile Fabrics And Accessories (Qiu Dong) Expo 2008

"China international textile fabrics, home textiles and Accessories Expo" (interTEXTILE) was founded in 1995. The origin and market positioning of the concept of the Expo are based on two aspects: first, the large demand for new and high-grade fabrics in China's garment industry and the requirements for further upgrading and upgrading of garment accessories and accessories; two, the booming market of Chinese household textiles, especially decorative textiles, and the broad prospects for their development.

In order to promote the development of China's textile industry and the prosperity of the textile market, and enhance the exchanges and cooperation in international trade and economic and technological exchanges of the textile industry, the China Textile Association of the International Trade Promotion Council and the German Frankfurt exhibition company decided to cooperate in organizing the international trade fair of textile fabrics and household textiles in China.

The exhibition categories are mainly divided into three categories: first, clothing and accessories; two, all kinds of interior decoration fabrics; three, home textiles.

It was scheduled to be held in Beijing in March, and in Shanghai in October.

The merged exposition is jointly organized by the China Textile Council, Frankfurt Exhibition (Hongkong) Co., Ltd., China Textile Information Center and China Household Textile Industry Association.

The contractor has complementary advantages, perfect its operation mechanism, and ensures its influence, high standard and international character with its professional background and rich experience in exhibition management.

In order to better reflect the professionalism of the Expo, the "China international textile fabrics, home textiles and Accessories Expo" was changed to "China international textile fabrics and accessories (Qiu Dong) exposition" and "China International Home Textiles and accessories (autumn and winter) exposition" from the tenth (2004).

Since the founding of the China international textile fabrics and accessories (Qiu Dong) fair, the exhibition area has expanded from the first 4000 square meters in 1995 to 80500 square meters in 2006, and the exhibitors also increased from 100 in the first 12 countries and regions to 2023 in 23 countries and regions in 2006.

These growth figures indicate a kind of development, which means that Chinese and foreign exhibitors and related industries affirm and approve this exposition.

It can be said that "China international textile fabrics and accessories (Qiu Dong) exposition" has truly become the largest and most influential textile fabric international trade exhibition in China today.

At present, China's major clothing and decorative fabric manufacturers treat the annual "China international textile fabrics and accessories (Qiu Dong) Fair" as an important business activity of their enterprises. Guangdong, Zhejiang and other places of decoration fabrics enterprises even regard the Expo as the most important place to release products.

At the same time, the European Commission also regarded the Expo as China's most dynamic and promising textile exhibition, and has been supporting and sponsoring European manufacturers to participate in the exhibition.

The 2006 Fair attracted 52295 trade visitors from 97 countries and regions, and overseas audiences accounted for about 20% of the total audience. This fully reflects the increasing internationalization of China international textile fabrics and accessories (Qiu Dong) exposition.
