According to the circular, the "women's shoes city of China", which is the core of Chengdu's Wuhou District, is one of the key industrial clusters in Sichuan. At present, more than 2000 shoe making enterprises and more than 3000 shoe material supporting enterprises have been clustered. Among them, more than 1100 women's shoes production enterprises, with an annual output of 140 million pairs, yield the third place in the country, of which 60% to 70% products are exported, and the export countries include 50~60 countries such as the United States and Russia.

In the first half of this year, the footwear export volume of Sichuan province reached 200 million US dollars, an increase of 57.3% over the same period last year, and the export unit price also increased 1.4 times.

Chiang Kai Shek, a provincial government adviser, said at a news conference that Sichuan footwear industry is in the leading position in the country both in terms of policy preferences and in the deployment of industries.
