China Fashion Design Competition Highlights Fashion Creativity Space

The unprecedented fashion and creative space will be unveiled.

This year, it has attracted much attention due to the newly named "Me & City Chinese fashion design competition" sponsored by the United States.

Since the competition has been soliciting contributions, the organizing committee has received a large number of entries from all over the country. But considering the influence of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and other factors, in order to make the participants have more time to prepare the entries, the organizing committee decided to postpone the deadline from August 20th to September 5th.

It is understood that the competition is aimed at young designers and institutions of cutting-edge designers behind the brand with a certain market influence, aiming to discover and introduce young designers with innovative ability and unique creativity.

At the same time, through the display and release of these designers, the contest interprets the designers and brands' understanding of fashion, and interprets their brand culture, thereby fostering growth brands and expanding their influence.

The competition advocates the combination of creativity and market, and encourages designers to focus on the market and find the perfect combination of creative design and market demand.

The life philosophy of "New City, New You" advocated by the new brand Me & City, the new brand of the United States, is coincided with the theme of the competition, "imagine the city's new life". As the exclusive sponsor of this competition, it will jointly promote the development of the creative industry.

In mid September, the jury of the competition organizing committee will make an open and fair evaluation of all the entries in Beijing. 30 outstanding works will be selected for the final.

As the top fashion creative event in China, the competition organizing committee has a very strong lineup of judges, including not only famous fashion designers both at home and abroad, but also professors in fashion design institutes, as well as top editor of fashion media, experts in clothing brand operation, etc.

All the entries will be displayed in from October 19th to 21st in the exhibition hall of "Me fashion City design competition" in Shanghai Pudong exhibition hall, "2008 fashion creative space lifestyle Lifestyle Exhibition". All the works, authors and selected units will be published by tens of thousands of professional audiences, media and branding enterprises, so that they can be visited, interviewed and butted.

At the same time, all the finalists will be released jointly with Chinese and foreign fashion designers at the opening ceremony of "fashion and creative night" in October 19th.
