Data show that Guangdong export clothing has been negative growth for 4 consecutive months.

Exports totaled 13 billion 280 million US dollars in the first half of July, down 31% from the same period last year.

6 and 7 decreased by 53.7% and 29.6%, respectively, in two months.

Exports to the US in the first half of this year dropped by US $1 billion 540 million, a decrease of 27.3%. It has been relegated to third by the first largest market in 2007. The proportion of the total exports to the US garment industry in the same period dropped from 20.3% in 2007 to 20.3% in the same period.

It is understood that the Guangdong provincial government has issued a series of support measures.

These include the increase of 230 million yuan to support the development of foreign trade and economic cooperation this year, and the support funds for the whole year will reach more than 700 million yuan.

The general trade of textile, clothing, toys, footwear, bags and other traditional intensive products will be subsidized by the export tax rebate.

"The current processing trade deposit margin may also be adjusted."
