    Appreciation Of Guangdong In Garment Industry

    In July, the Guangdong Provincial Department of labor and Social Security announced that Guangdong will implement the "wage doubling plan" from this year, and establish a sound mechanism for the normal growth of wages of enterprises.

    Starting in 2008, the wages of the whole province increased by more than 14% a year, and by 2012, it was quadrupled than the 2000 level of wages, so that workers could enjoy the fruits of economic development.
