First Cross Straits Agricultural Products Procurement Order Meeting
The first cross straits (Quanzhou) agricultural products procurement order meeting was held yesterday in Fujian and Taiwan's agricultural products market in Nanan. More than 3000 representatives from agricultural producers, buyers, farmers' associations and entrepreneurs from across the Straits took part in the order meeting.
Jiang Zengwei, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce and Ye Shuangyu, vice governor of Fujian, jointly unveiled the "cross-strait (Quanzhou) agricultural products trading logistics center" for the Ministry of Commerce's awarding of Fujian and Taiwan's agricultural products market.
Orders will be on the spot, and many Taiwan agricultural products dealers will set up booths to seek opportunities for trade cooperation.
Huang Guozhou, director general of Lin Neixiang peasant association of Yunlin County, Taiwan, brought the local characteristic fruit: square watermelon, grapefruit, papaya and so on.
He said that many people had come to his booth this morning to discuss cooperation intentions, and have already talked about several deals.
The purchase and purchase contract for agricultural products signed 21 agricultural cooperation projects and purchase and sale contracts, with a total value of 1 billion 960 million yuan.
