The six consumer products exported to Indonesia such as electrical appliances, shoes, children's toys, beverages, food and clothing will be subject to new import regulations.

It is understood that in order to protect Indonesia's domestic market and related industries, the Minister of trade of Indonesia signed the regulation No. 44/M-DAG/PER/10/2008 in October 31st, stipulates that the above 6 products must be imported by legally registered importers and imported at 5 ports and all international airports, such as Jakarta's Dan Rong Pu, San Bao long Dan Rong Emas, Surabaya Dan Rong Bei La, Mindanao bend and tin Jiangsu, Jiangsu, and so on.

The Ordinance came into force on December 15, 2008 until December 31, 2010.

Importers must import products to the government after completing the registration requirements of the above products. The registration time is about 7 days and the longest is 40 days. The importer must check the loading port before loading the goods and bear the cost on his own.
