Shaoxing'S Exports Of Textile And Clothing Are Expected To Break Billions In 08 Years

The textile industry accounts for about 70% of Shaoxing's economy and a high degree of dependence on exports.

Facing the global financial crisis, especially since last year, the impact of import and export business has become increasingly apparent, but Shaoxing textile enterprises rely on their inherent advantages in foreign trade, actively respond to the crisis and try their best to minimize the adverse effects.

A few days ago, customs data showed that from last year to November, Shaoxing achieved self import and export of US $9 billion 220 million, an increase of 25% over the same period last year, of which 5 billion 950 million US $5 billion 950 million, an increase of 23.9%, and imports of US $3 billion 270 million, an increase of 26.9%.

It is expected that the total foreign trade volume will exceed 10 billion US dollars, and self export will ensure US $6 billion 300 million.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Shaoxing foreign trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, last year, Shaoxing's key foreign trade enterprises showed strong strength, and the leading enterprises such as "gentry" and other leading enterprises continued to play a leading role. The new talent such as Shirley Feng, Xiang Yue and macro set rose rapidly. From 1 to November last year, 142 enterprises that exported more than 10 million US dollars accounted for 47.3% of the total volume of the county, and the growth rate was higher than that of the whole county by 4 percentage points.

The number of trading companies in the county has expanded rapidly, accounting for more than half of the total number of export enterprises. Last year, 1 dollars and 2 billion 770 million dollars were exported from November to last year, accounting for 46.6% of the total export volume of the county, with a growth rate of 12.5 percentage points higher than that of the whole county.

From 1 to November last year, Shaoxing's exports to ASEAN increased by 29.5% compared with the same period last year. The performance of exports to Latin America increased by 45% over the same period last year. The development of emerging markets has achieved positive results, especially in some resource-based countries, with strong economic support and rapid growth in consumption, giving Shaoxing textile export new growth momentum.

In addition, Shaoxing's foreign trade structure was balanced last year. Import trade accounted for 1/2 of the export volume. It effectively changed the situation that only paid attention to exports and ignored imports, especially the import of chemical raw materials, which increased by nearly 30%, and the resources in the international market were better utilized.

Since last year, Shaoxing has increased its policy incentives to foreign trade. In the two economic policies introduced in the first half and second half of this year, the financial capital used to encourage foreign trade to grow bigger and better has reached 34 million yuan, and the original incentive export volume has been changed to the reward trade volume, and the import business has been included in the encouragement scope.

It is understood that in order to expand the international market, 7 overseas international exhibitions were organized in Shaoxing county last year, with more than 300 enterprises participating in the exhibition, and the exhibition effect was obvious.

In the face of the international financial crisis, in order to enable more foreign trade enterprises to familiarise themselves with relevant policies and regulations, Shaoxing County Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau has placed training in an important position, and has jointly conducted targeted guidance with departments such as customs, commodity inspection and external management, and has promulgated various foreign trade and economic information through various channels.

They also chose 150 enterprises as regular observation and analysis units, and found problems and put forward solutions.

At the same time, they took the initiative to help enterprises strive for all kinds of support funds. Last year, Shaoxing county enterprises received more than 460 yuan of subsidy funds above the provincial level.

It is reported that the rapid development of knitting and warp knitting industry in Shaoxing County, as well as the introduction of special width printing, non-woven production line, and effective adjustment of product structure, have also directly led to the expansion of Shaoxing's export.

In addition, "Tianlong Holdings" and "Sihai spandex" have applied for the establishment of overseas enterprises, so as to diversify their origin, avoid excessive competition and reduce trade risks.
