He Yi Ming: Xinjiang's foreign trade will continue to maintain rapid development.

It is predicted that the world economic growth will reach 3.7% in 2008, and the main trading partner countries in our region will continue to grow. The growth of GDP in Kazakhstan, Russia and Kyrgyzstan is over 6%, and will enter the era of strong consumption.

From the perspective of trade structure, Xinjiang's export scale is larger than that of imports.

The most exported commodities are clothing, textile products, shoes, mechanical and electrical products, bags, PVC, agricultural products, plastic products and so on. 16 commodities include iron ore, electromechanical products and agricultural products.

He Yiming: geopolitical advantage.

China is adjacent to 14 countries, 8 of which are bordering on Xinjiang.

Xinjiang accounts for 52% of the total import and export trade of Kazakhstan, and Xinjiang is the most important land access for China's opening up to the outside world, facing the bridgehead of Central Asia, Western Asia and South Asia.

There are 47 ethnic groups living in Xinjiang. There are many similarities in customs, consumption habits, language, and other neighboring countries, such as Kazakh and Kyrgyzstan, which are very convenient for trading.

70% of the products exported here are produced in the eastern region. For example, the largest export products in recent years are clothing, shoes and hats, textiles, electrical and mechanical, building materials, agricultural products, and so on.
