Jinjiang Shoe Material Recycling Station Emergent Fire
On the afternoon of 19, 6 pm, a shoe material recycling station on the side of Chen Tong Bridge in Meiling, Jinjiang, had a fire. 10 tons of shoe material waste was ignited, and the area burned up to 400 square meters. Jinjiang fire fighting was successfully extinguished after two hours of hard work.
After the Jinjiang fire command was dispatched to the command center, a squadron quickly dispatched four vehicles and 20 fire officers and soldiers to the scene. When the officers and men arrived at the scene, the flames continued to jump up, and smoke billowing to the sky, and the smell of burning shoes came to the surface. The warehouse built of asbestos tiles collapsed. Officers and men quickly launched a fire fighting campaign. Chen Dai four squadron then reined two tanks before reinforcements.
After the open fire was extinguished, the fire officers and soldiers climbed to the upper part of the shoe material and inserted the water gun into the internal jet. In view of this situation, the workers at the recycling station rushed forward to help the officers and men remove the shoes. By 8:15 PM, the fire was successfully extinguished.
According to Mr. Shan, director of the recycling station, there are about 10 tons of shoe material waste at the scene, and the fire area is 400 square meters. At that time, workers were operating in the warehouse pressing machine area, and suddenly caught fire near the pressing machine platform, and the fire spread rapidly. He immediately called the police for help. Fortunately, the scene staff fled in time without causing casualties.
